"Haan?"

"There are two ladies waiting for you in the living room.."

"Ladies? Kaun?"

"Pata nehi.. jake dekhlo..they are waiting.."

"Okay..thank you.."

She walks into the living room..

"Hello..Aap log mujhse milne aaye?"

"Yes..Sana? right?"... One of the ladies speaks up..

"Haan ji.. lekin I am sorry I am not being able to recognize you.."

"It's okay! We haven't met before. Actually we didn't want you to take any trouble, so chose not to inform! Well, I am Preeti, Sid's sister aur yeh meri Mom, Mrs. Rita Shukla.."

She was surely not expecting this, so almost chokes on her reply!!..."Hey Bhagwan! I'm so sorry!! Please, please have a seat..! Namaste Aunty!".. she gets nervous in no time!

"Dhiraj kaka??"... Sana calls out for a house help..

"Haan ji beta?"

"Kaka..2 cup chai banake laiye please.."

"Haan beta abhi laya.."

"Areh don't bother.. we just came to see you!"... Preeti intervenes..

"Relax Didi, baas chai hi tou hai.."

She turns her face towards his Mom.."Aunty how are you doing now? You were unwell na?"

"Theek hoon beta! Thank you for asking. Can you come this side?"

Sana is already getting a very good vibe around her, so moving to her side feels the same!

"How are you doing now? Tabiyat theek hai?"

"Haan ji theek hoon aunty..just a little tiredness..! Theek ho jaungi because Dr. Shukla's treatment is no less than a magic!"..this slips out of her tongue abruptly as she surely didn't want to take his name first! Now she seems to be all shying away..🤭

"I know! He is a dedicated one! Pata hai beta, my Sidharth is a very good son! He makes sure ki mujhe kisi chiz ki kami na ho, main theek rahun! Infact, dekho na, he earns so well, but spends everything on us! Lekin aaj zindagi mein pehli bar, usne mujhse kuch manga hai and I am skeptical of giving that to him.."

Sana's heart starts pounding. She is scared to listen further..!

Mom continues.."He wants 'time'.

"Time? Kis chiz k leye?"...asks Sana..

"Settle hone k leye, as in shadi k leye.."

"Oh!"..her heart somewhere is not ready to accept this. He seemed all into her then why does he need time?! She gets lost in a notion..

"Haanji haanji boliye!"

"What are thinking beta? Koi problem hai kya?"

"Nehi nehi Aunty! Absolutely nothing! All good! Yeh lijiye tea is here..I will serve.."..she moves towards the centre table..

"Sana I hope you didn't mind. Hum log bina batake chale aye!"...Preeti adds to the conversation..

"Di please don't say that..I'm honoured that you are here..!"..she smiles, passing the cups..
