CHAPTER 25

MYA'S POV

after i looked through so many dress books with julia i was beat. i just told her she could do the wedding. i picked my colors and she is going to do the rest. we are not having the whole pack there, just our family. i didn't need a big wedding, all i need is klous and our family there. anyway right now me and klous are standing in the woods waiting for dawn one of the she wolves. klous seems to think she has answers about the text message that she has. joe tracked the phone and found it in the garbage at a liquor store and thats all we have. i think he should let it go but he feels strongly about this.

"she should have been here by now" he said annoyed

"im sure she will come babe just be easy okay" i rubbed his shoulders.

we heard someone approach us. when the body came closer it was arron klous's father. he had an angry look on his face. why would he show up instead of dawn.

"what are you doing here dad" klous asked

"i was  upset so i decided to take a stroll"

"what do you have to be upset about" i asked him

"one of the she wolves got attacked by her mate, and she is in a coma" he sighed

why on earth would a mate do something crazy like that. i have never heard of that happening ever. something isn't adding up right.

"who was it, and why did he put his own mate in a coma" klous asked

"i don't know maybe his wolf lost control or something" he shrugged "why are you two out here" he asked.

"we were waiting for someone, so you can go on with your walk' klous sneered at his father.

i still don't know the name of the wolf that is in a coma. this is so weird. a mate is supposed to protect and honor their other half.

"what is her name'  i asked running my fingers through my hair.

"dawn i think" he sneered like he knew we were waiting on her.

could he have something to do with this? wow maybe klous is right about his father. he could be hiding anything. but what?

"did you just say dawn" klous said angry. i brushed his mind. i felt him open up.

don't go off the handle, i think he want to see how you will react. i think he knows we were waiting on her.

do you think he has something to do with her being in a coma?

yeah i do

klous left my mind but kept our link open.

"where is her mate" he asked in a calm voice

"he is in jail right now, but i wouldn't go see him just yet. his wolf is raging" arron said

he is trying to us from seeing him klous, he has something to do with

yeah im thinking the same thing.

"okay well we better get back to the house babe, i want to make sure dawn is getting all the help she needs" i said

"your right lets go' he said taking my hand.

we walked passed arron as he kept going on his so called walk. on our way back we were silent because i know arron could still hear us.

10 minutes later

klous said he was going to go check on dawn. i kissed him softly and let him go. i was going to go in our room for a while and just think but i heard faint little cries, it sounded like a kid. i turned from the stairs listening so i could find who was crying. i walked down the hallway towards the game room. the crying stopped. then it started again so i kept walking until the sound was more clear.

at the end of the hall there was a closet door. i could hear the rapid heart beat as i put my hand on the door to turn the knob. i opened the door and there was a little girl huddled in the darkest corner of the closet. she looked to be about 5 yrs old.

"honey it's luna mya, can you come out for me sweetie' i said calmly

she shook her head no. she wouldn't even look at me. she had long wavey black hair that came to her waist, and tanned skin. she looks like she is mixed. the poor thing was so scared she wouldn't even look at me. where did she come from? i have never seen her around. i just want to see her face.

"it's okay, im not going to hurt you. i want to help you sweetie. please just take my hand and come out"i said holding out my hand.

"you promise you wont hurt me" she said with her face in her hands.

she had on a purple hoodie with some nice little cute skinny jeans with some purple vans. she was pretty stylish for a 5 yr old. her voice was so sweet. my heart clenched what happen to this little girl?

"i promise honey"

she crawled out of the closet taking my hand. she put her hood on her head and put her head down. i wonder if there is something wrong with her face since she won't show it.

"now why don't you take of that hood so i can see who i am talking to" i said pulling the hood back

she stopped me pulling it back over her head so i still didn't get to see her

"no! if you see me i could get in big trouble" she said scared

"why would you get in trouble if anyone sees your face sweetie" i asked

"im not supposed to'

okay so she might not feel comfortable with me yet.

"okay what is your name hon"

"porshay, but you can call me shay luna mya'

"okay shay, why were you crying" i asked

she started to cry and she wrapped her arms around my waist. what the hell is going on around here. i rubbed her back trying to calm her.

"there is no one to take care of me now, my mom is sleeping for a long time and my daddy......" she started to sob again.

"your daddy what baby' i said rubbing her back.

"h he's in jail, now i have no one'

could her mother be dawn. if it is omg.

"is your mom's name dawn"

"how do you know' she said in her little voice

"well your mom and alpha klous are friends"

"oh"

'would you like to go see her" i asked

she got so happy she looked up at me and her hood fell back. i couldn't believe what i was seeing. my eyes bugged out of my head. i called klous through the link.

klous you have to come here right now!
