There were also herbivorous animals similar to deer and hares that existed both in Yggdrasil and in the original world. This calmed me and the professor a little, but given their origin, this world may contain other, more powerful beings of Yggdrasil. Secondly, local intelligent natives have been discovered, namely a village of people. This village is located to the west of our position, next to the forest. According to Hanzo, their level of technological development was not high, the houses were entirely made of wood, there was no glass in the windows, and there was no electricity. People are poorly dressed, in old rag clothes. I can conclude that this country is lagging behind in the development of technology, or the village is cut off from the world. Perhaps the use of magic causes a lack of development in other areas, such as science.

Third, for some reason, the villagers speak Japanese. It wouldn't be an anomaly, only the movement of their mouths didn't match the spoken words. Hanzo noticed an important detail. Has someone bewitched the village? Or is it one of the laws of this new world? When contacting locals, I am obliged to study this issue. Unfortunately, it was not possible to find out the name of the local country and the nearest city, but this was not critical. I planned to get in touch with the locals soon.
