Hey Y'all! I'm really, reeeeaaaaalllly sorry that I haven't updated in a while! You see I'm currently juggling two jobs that take up all my time rn and though the hours aren't too long, the jobs tend to double up on a single day so all I really wanna do with my free time is sleep since im lazy :( Im really sorry I lost the motivation to write recently, but I will update I promise! It'll probably just take a little more time.
Also, I've been looking over my story (as I do occasionally) and I'm starting to realize my current view of Dylan's character is straying farther and farther away from my original one—and I'm also not liking how I wrote this story. So I may, possibly, might, probably, definitely at some point put both these books under editing. Nothing too much will change and Mike and Dylan will still end up being together in this book (although I have been pondering an alternative version where Mike and El are still together....), but you will notice that Dylan, especially in book one, is much more rough around the edges, closed off, and pessimistic. And he'll smile less. I made him way too smiley for what I wrote as his persona.
Also, it's official: im getting rid of Chase.
Y'all can still imagine him if you want but he's finally starting to look less like Chase Hudson and more like Michael James-Olsen to me in my head (maybe a mix of the two tbh), and that makes me happy so yeah. New face claim for good this time.
Now I might just revise the whole damn books, or I might post two separate versions of this book—honestly, it's your guy's choice, whatever floats your boat. Comment your decision or preference below if your interested.
So yeah, there will be changes. But I'm the meantime, enjoy this fact compilation that I piled up about Dylan for you guys! If you want any more fun facts, feel free to ask in the comment section!
Please enjoy!

• If he had to choose a favourite Party member other than Mike, it'd be Dustin (this one was hard since he has a special bond with each member and I know it's not heavily portrayed in the story, but Dylan does have a soft spot for him).
• This is more of a headcannon than anything honestly because idk how tf it'd fit into the story, but both Dylan and Billy are musically inclined. Dylan can play the violin and Billy plays the piano. Also, due to their heightened hearing, both can play by ear (the two play for the Party, Steve, Nancy, Jonathan, and Robin sometimes, but they have to beg the brothers to do so. And Billy will only play if Dylan does).
• I literally thought of this months after I posted the latest chapter, but Dylan is trilingual! Both he and Billy are half Bulgarian (Father), half Irish (mother). They grew up speaking Bulgarian and English, although they learned Gaelic from their mother and often use it as their dialect of choice (I reeeeaaaaaaallly need to write this into the story!)
- Btw, I cannot speak Bulgarian nor Gaelic. Like whatsoever. I just think they're neat.• He can sing, but he does NOT like to do so. His voice isn't outstanding, but rather soothing and kind of mellifluous. Very easy to fall asleep to. Though you'd have a hell of a better chance getting him to play violin rather than sing. So far, he's only truly sung for four people: Mike, his mom, Billy, and Lucas like twice only (Max overheard him a little bit once but he quickly stopped once he sensed she was listening. She hasn't heard a peep of his singing since, much to her chagrin).
• He's pretty impartial to music (hates anything with screaming for obvious reasons), but he (and Billy, though he'd never truly admit it) has a deep appreciation of classical tunes. The orchestral sound is nice on his sensitive hearing.
