Dream Land

The meet up

Lola got to school after rushing to not be late. She pondered the dream, and assumed it was true. Her and Eve sat on a bench near the gate waiting for Zack. She wasn't going to say it straight away, but kind of slip it into a conversation. Finally, about five minuets before the bell, he arrived.

"Hey." Lola said quietly,
"Oh hey!" Zack replied "i almost didn't see you there!"
"You okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine! By the way, I'm just curious, what dream did you have last night? Just asking."
" Umm...I can't remember... I'll tell you when I remember." And he walked off.
" What was that? Some way of flirting?" Eve asked
"What? No no no! It's just, well, it's complicated but no!" Lola replied, emmbaressed and blushing . Luckily the bell went and they said nothing more about it.

Lola tried to forget about it for the rest of the day, convincing herself it wasn't true, but it seemed so real to her.

Fourth lesson came and Lola had music. Zack was in this class so maybe she could see if he remembered is dream yet. She sat down in the middle of the class surrounded in keyboards where the class always was at the start of the class to see what they were doing that day.
"Today class we will be on the keyboards in pairs, each pair will have a different piece to the other and one person will play the melody and the other the chords. I will let you choose the pairs but any problems and I'll choose them myself." the music teacher said as he looked toward two people in Lola's class who usually misbehaved.

Lola looked to Eve but noticed someone had already asked her. So she looked for others but everyone else had already sat down. The only two people left were her and Zack.

" I guess we are partners then!" Zack said brightly as he smiled.

"I guess so!" Lola replied as she got her music and sat down.

Lola had always been good at music and the music teacher favoured her because she played the flute in the school orchestra and he could always rely on her for the right answers and to give an example on the piano. However, Lola didn't know that Zack was also good too.

" Wow, your really good" she said after practicing it a few times.

" As are you." He replied laughing pushing his hair out of his face.

"Oh no here comes sir. He probably wants to hear us." Lola said sighing,

" Okay so two you seem chatty, let's see what you've done" the teacher said smugly.
Lola and Zack played their piece perfectly to the teacher and when they finished he looked shell-shocked.
"Well done you two" as he took his glasses off in shock and walked off.

Lola and Zack just looked at each other and laughed.

"Did you see his face!" Lola giggled

"Yeah!" Zack giggled back.

" Oh! Before I forget, did you ever remember anything about your dream" Lola said trying not to sound strange.

" Ah yes about that, I never forgot my dream." He started to whisper. "I just wasn't allowed to say it in front of your friend"

"You know what I'm talking about don't you? About the dream...land...thing..."

"of course I did! I think I would have acted differently if I didn't have that dream, it's not everyday the first thing you say to someone is what did you dream about last night!"

" Good point... So the dream land is true? About the saving dreams and your brother?"

"Sadly yes, but it is very rare that happens. Only abo-"

" Five minuets left class!"

" I'll tell you later... In your dreeeeam!!" He joked. "but when you go to sleep you will be in that dream centre thingy, I still don't know what it's called, and I'll met you there!"

"Okay!" Lola felt nervous yet excited she wanted to just go home and sleep forever, but resisted the urge.

When Lola got home she spoke to her mum (not about the dream), did her homework had tea with her family and went to bed. She could barley get to sleep but she just managed to.

Her feet felt as light as a feather. Lola looked down she had bare feet on a white, soft, fluffy cloud that felt like thousands of cotton wool balls as a floor. She looked forward and saw the cloud town just like before. She was so tempted to just walk in and explore but,

" Hey!" Said a familiar voice.
