Dark's POV
I stare out at the deep sea surrounding the kingdom of Falazia. The kingdom ruled by king Somnoid has always been my long standing home, especially since im the Shadow knight of his royal guard. At least that was until i was tasked with acting as body guard to someone close to the king. I look at the sun in the sky and sigh as its about time for me to go meet up with the one im meant to protect.
I take flight and head for the castle, the imposing building that lets people know just who is in charge of this kingdom. I sigh and finally land, the cool stone soothing to me. The king, a large Noivern waits for me, tapping his claw against the stone floor. I then peak behind him and see a smaller Noivern, dressed in mage gear. The king coughs, having caught me staring and i stand up tall.
"Well Dark let me get to the point. I wish for you to guard over my son Echo here" King Somnoid states. I blink, having thought id misheard him. he sighs and repeats himself ""You are going to be the personal guard of my son Echo. And if you fail like all the others have i will strip you of your status and you will be exiled from the kingdom for the rest of your life."
I gulp and nod, glancing over at you "Yeah i understand sir. Ill do my best to take care of the heir to the throne!"
He smiles and nods, "Another bit of advice, my son here is a mage who specializes in the use of sound magic. As a knight i want you to help him with combat training as well. He may be good at magic but hes not the best at physical combat, so you helping him with that would be a big favor to ask"."
"Yah sure your higness, Its no problem" I smile and walk over to Echo, feeling like im walking to my destiny
