Chapter 16

Chase was in the apartment by his self because Maddie was out shopping. He wanted to go with her but he had a lot of interviews to do. He could feel that there was something wrong but he just couldn't put it in his head.

It has been 3 hours already and Maddie still hasn't came home. Chase was getting worried but just thought she was just taking long like she always does when she goes shopping.

When another 20 minutes go by he decided to call Maddie to see if she was ok and coming back soon. He waits but then the phone goes straight to voicemail. He starts to panic but try's to calm himself done thinking it could be nothing.

Maddie's POV:

I was walking on the streets to the next store since they were right by each other. But all of the sudden I can sense someone behind me, I try to ignore it but get even more scared when he comes up closer and then he grabs me. I start to scream but he puts his hands over my mouth. I try to kick him but his grip on me was so tight I couldn't do anything. He starts walking away with me in his arms to his car.

When we get to his van he throws me in there and shuts the door and I start yelling for help. He gets into the passenger seat and starts to drive off. I was so scared that I couldn't even think straight. It was so hot in the back of his van that I pass out.

When I wake up I'm in this room tied up. The man isn't in the room. I hurried and grabbed my phone I see a miss call from Chase. I click on his name and call him quietly. He answered really fast and says "Maddie are you ok, where are you?" I Start to whisper every thing to him and tell him what happened to me. I tell him to call the cops and have the cops track my phone.

He hangs up to call the cops. I start crying again, I need chase right now. All of the sudden the door opens I quickly hide my phone. "What are you doing?" The man says angry which makes me jump. "Nothing" I say quickly. He comes up to me and says "you better" and then slaps me in the face. I put my hand on my face in pain. He then walks out of the room and I breath out of relief.

All of the sudden I hear cop cars outside the house and then a Big Bang. The door swings open and there was a cop with Chase standing by him. Chase runs over to me and hugs me tightly. "Oh my gosh are you ok?" He says with a terrified voice.
" I am now" I say. He slowly kisses me on the lips and helps untie me and picks me up. They cops took the guy to jail. And they asked me a bunch of questions before letting me go.

The dive home was very quiet with me holding onto chases hand with all my strength. When we get home I go straight to the bedroom and lay on the bed. It was now 2:00am and I was so worn out. I was still very terrified. Chase comes over to me and cuddled up to me. "I was so scared that I was going to lose you, pls promise me you won't go out by yourself anymore" Chase says. "Oh for now on I'm going nowhere with out you for a long time"

They both fell asleep in each other's arms. Maddie didn't leave Chases embrace.

But when all of the sudden Maddie shoots up breathing heavily Chase quickly wakes up and says "Maddie it's ok it's just a dream." Maddie try's to calm herself down. She starts to cry while. Chase is Hugging her. "It's okay, it's okay,it's okay" Chase says rubbing Maddie's hair. Soon enough they both fall back asleep.
