The game

Sapphire's pov
I ordered a lil steak bowl . Tony got a huge burrito. After we were done eating we had to go to my house . I drove and got there in 10 minutes .I ran up stairs with tony following. I quickly threw on my uniform and I took of my make up and then tony put on my foundation and mascara .
"Thanks tony" I said.
He smiled then he started to put up my hair .my hair was in a high pony with a piece braid into the pony .
"You always make me pretty tony "
"Haha you already are pretty I just give you glam "
"That's what a gay guy would say lol"
"You know it "
We both laughed . We drove back to school. I went to warm up . Emily and I started throwing . When I saw mikey . I caught the ball and looked over and saw him wearing jeans and my schools tshirt . It was tight on him.
"Holy shit " I said
"Dammmmnnn" the whole team went .
I got jealous of them looking at him. I shook myself . There's no reason to be jealous he's not mine anymore .
"Come on start throwing" coach said.
I waved to mikey and everyone waved back so I put my best smile on and turned back to Emily .

The game started . We were bating first . I was the first of course number 1 was first. Also I'm the best batter but I could get him of my mind . I'm going to hit a homerun for him. I watched her pitch . She did a werid pitch that I can't describe. She wiggles her whole body steps out then starts her wind up . That will screw everyone up but not me.

I stepped up to the plate . I heard the crowd cheer .
" Come on sapphire ! " the voice be longed to mikey .
She released the ball and I hit it over the fence it went .
"Homerun " the ump said. I took my time jogging the bases and slid into home .
"Show off " the ump laughed .
I went in and took a drink . I told coach I had to go to the bathroom so I went by mike and tapped his shoulder then made a come here sign and I ran to be hid the food shed . When he came I gave him a hug .
"Thank you for coming " I said .
"No problem nice hit "
"I hit it for you "
"Well thank you "
I kissed his cheek then ran back to the dug out .
"Sapphire warm up for pitching " coach said .
I put on my face mask and glove . I grabbed a ball and went out to see my dad next to mike .... Oh god . I went to my dad .
"Where's prim ?" I asked
"She's with friends " my dad said
"Who's going to warm me up?"
"I can't " my dad said .
"I will" mike said .
"Are you sure " my dad said
"Yeah "
"I wish you luck . She pitches hard and fast ."
I laughed in my head . After warming up it was time to field .

I put my phone on the charger and went to put on my pjs . I looked at my yoga shorts and black tank top as I pulled up my hair. I went in my bathroom and brushed my teeth . I laid down and pulled the blanket to my neck. I reached for the light switch next to my bed and closed my eyes for a good night sleep .
