Chapter 2

Oniyuri Village

No one's POV

We see team RNJR walking into the, now ruined, village of Oniyuri. As Ren leads them through the abandoned town center, he holds his hand out to stop the group and gets into a stance. Hand hovering above his weapons, he quickly arms himself, and everyone else behind him follows.

Then, a figure flies out from above and lands, giving the kids a crazed face. He soon rushes them, only for Ren to block his attack. Soon chaos erupts, with everyone trying to land a hit that will at least harm the guy. As the man finally crashes through a building (ouch) Jaune yells out to him...

Jaune: We're not looking for a fight!

Ren: Who are you?

Man: Who I am matters not to you, or you, or... well... you *points at Jaune* do interest me. No, I only matter... to you. *points at Ruby*

Ruby: Me?

As they soon start to converse... during a fight, we see one figure bolting towards the village and another simply sitting in a tree.

Scene Change

Erza's POV

Ugh, when can I like, hit something, anything. Could be a dog, cat, nic, SOMETHING! Tired of just sitting around-Oh! Qrow messaged me.

Qrow: Erza! The kids are getting attacked by a man in Oniyuri, they don't seem strong enough to kill him, let alone hurt him. It looks like a lackey of Her. I'm going in to save them. Follow me to cover me... and beat that mans ass.

Erza: On my way.

Ah yes, finally a real fight. Time to stretch these limbs! *jumps down from tree into a shadow, disappearing*

Back to Oniyuri

No one's POV

As Ruby is on the ground, about to be I don't know, killed by this man... Qrow busts through the wall and stops the mans stinger with his great sword.

Ruby gives a relieved sigh...

Qrow: *smirks* Hey

Tyrian: As I live and breath, Qrow Branwen. A true huntsman joins the fray...

Qrow gives Ruby a side look, which she comments 'he's weird' and shrugs her shoulders.

Qrow: Look pal, I'm not sure who you are.. but you need to leave my niece alone.

Tyrian: *chuckles* Why friend my name is Tyrian, and I'm afraid that's not possible. My Assignment from her grace was to retrieve this young girl. Soo that's what I must do, one does not upset the Queen.

Ruby: Queen?

Qrow: Salem.

Ruby: ...who?

Tyrian: Hmph, I'm afraid we've had enough talk, don't you?

Qrow: You took the words right out OF-

As they start to fight their epic battle, we switch views to see a man hopping out of a shadow approximately a mile away from the village. Erza looks around but soon hears the fighting, to which he starts sprinting in that direction. As he gets closer he grabs the Naginata off of his back and turns the corner; Only to see Qrow about to get stabbed by Tyrian's Tail, so Erza intervenes.

Erza quickly pushes Qrow out of the way and stabs Tyrian's stinger into the ground, making the scorpion faunus yell out in pain.

Tyrian: You bitch!
