Unfamiliar Park // Miriam x Reader

You heard someone knock at your front door. You happened to be in the side of your house, outside, so you peaked from the side door.

"Oh!" You exclaimed. Miriam looked in your direction.

"Uhh.." she pointed at the dirt all over you.

"OH! I was gardening.." you chuckled dusting the dirt off yourself

"Classic y/n," she joked. You leaned in and gave her a hug, she turned red.

"I'm going to change really fast," you sheepishly smiled. "I would invite you in but~....my parents don't really like you..soo" you said as you closed the side gate slowly.

"They don't??!-" she was cut off by the gate closing.

"BE RIGHT BACK!" You shouted from somewhere in your backyard.

::5 minutes later::

"Hi!" You exclaimed from the side gate. Miriam was leaning against the wall just waiting. "Sorry I kept you waiting, my parents were Interrogating me," you sighed.

Miriam grabbed your hands,

"It's fine, let's go!!"

"Woah!~" you yelled at her random force as she pulled you down the road. "Where are we going!!?" You whined.

"You'll see!!"

A little later you guys arrived at an unfamiliar empty park

"Where are we..?"

"It's some old park, but it'll become special!!"

"How?"

"Because there's something important I wanted to tell you..." and with that she let your hands go and went to the playground. "Have some fun!!" She yelled at you from the top of the slide.

"Coming!!"

You guys played for hours, talked, explored. Until...you guys were sitting under the playground in silence.

"Hey y/n..." Miriam broke the silence.

"Hm?"

"I..."

....

"I-I like-"

"Me?"

"Uh-I- h-"

"Awww! Your face is so red!!"

"I didn't- how'd- wh-"

"Wow , the Miriam, getting flustered, huh?"

"I-I am not!?"

"Mhm sure"

"Don't roll your eyes at me!!?" Miriam tackled you.

"Hey! Get off me!!" You giggled.

"Make me"

"..."

Your face went red as hers did as well. The position you were in suddenly became awkward. Only thing to be heard was "ah- oh- um.." and "sorry.." You guys were both on your knees, you were staring at her while she starred in all directions, embarrassed.

"I..I like you too" you smiled sheepishly, as Miriam just stared at you in shock. She jumped onto you and hugged you tight.

"That's all I needed to hear." She mumbled into your hair.
