'What???! What did she say?" the truth was, you had told Mei your feelings about her and she felt mutual, however nothing was official, yet...
"She said "i'm not sure, ask y/n" soooooo...are you guys?!" Miriam was jumping up and down with excitement.
"I-uhh-i we-" you could feel your face turn red.
"Yes or no?" Miriam was biting her lip as her eyes lit up.
"FINE! Wearebutwearentbutwelikeoneandotherbutarentdatingbutwearesoyesandno...?"
"Woah woah, slow down, you guys are??.."

"Explain it all to me."
"We- we told each other we liked one and other but didn't talk about whether we're dating so i don't know!" you whined wanting to just go home and cry into your pillow. There was nothing more stressful than having your closest friend, other than Mei, interview you on something you don't even know about.
"Hmmm.. I'd say tell her and ask about it? Or bring up the idea of being official."
"I-i mean i could but...i don't want to, it's too scary."
"Well look, we're here!" miriam pointed, "hey~ i see Mei inside~"
"W-what?! Mei? Pshh who mei?' you nervously chuckled looking around trying to avoid eye contact.
"Please ask her. You guys would look so cute together!!"
"I- fine i'll ask her i guess..."
"You don't have to if you don't want t-"
"I will! I am going to do this!!" You guys walked into the school building. You saw Mei, Abby and priya.
"Mei!!"
"Y/n!! Oh my gosh hi!!" mei ran up to you and hugged you.
"They are so in love." pryia said.
"I know and it's so cute!" Miriam puppy eyed. Pryia rolled her eyes.
"Mei, I have something to tell you." you said quietly as you pulled her away from the crowd.
"What's y/n doing?" Pryia asked as Miriam filled her in.
"So, I like you...more than a friend.." you said looking down.
"Oh- yeah I already knew that..." Mei chuckled awkwardly.
"And, I was wondering if you would want to date me?"
"A-are we not already dating?"
"What."
"Haven't we been dating since like 5 months ago?"
"WHAT"
"Yeah I thought we both knew we liked each other and just agreed to start dating without telling each other?.."
"Oh- uhh...yeah yeah!.." you quickly walked away to miriam to tell her what just happened as you left Mei alone and confused.
"So.. what happened? Is it official!!!??"
"So...apparently me and mei have been dating for the past 5 months.."
"YOU'VE BEEN WHAT??!" Miriam, Priya and Abby yelled.
