Chapter 1
I walked down the road a block away from my house. The wind was picking up I hurried along. There was just something unusual about tonight but maybe it's just the full moon.
The street lights lit up as I was walking under them, I started to hurry. It was talking longer than usual to get home today.
Something buzzed in my pocket I picked up my phone to see if it was my mom being worried. I answered quickly so that she wouldn't get mad.
"Hello?, I asked.
"Clarissa!? Are you okay?,asked a strange voice.
"Yeah I'm fine , who is this?, I responded.
That's when everything went bizarre. All the street lights in the neighborhood went black. I looked down at my phone but it was gone. Gone . Vanished into thin air.
But how?
I was going to have to ask those questions later but now I have to go home. And quick.
I got home , and like normal I got the key that was hidden under the door mat.
The door opened slowly. I went inside and looked for my mom. She was nowhere to be seen. I eventually called the police.
What they found was something I wish I could forget.
