[Classtime]
Y/N was trying to focus on the lectures, but today was different. He felt off, very off. I must be tired, yeah it's probably that, he thought. He didn't notice that he was subconsciously stealing small little glances at the boy, and at one point, staring long enough for one of his classmates to notice.
"Alright that's it for class, it's almost lunch time and since we're done, free time," said the teacher. It was 10 minutes until the bell rings. Y/N looked at the boy one more time and realized the boy was also looking in his direction. Shiii—, he cussed internally.
[12:00 PM - Lunchtime]
It was time for lunch and Y/N met up with Ayano at the roof.
Ayano: "Are you okay?"
Y/N: "Yeah, I'm fine, why?"
Ayano saw that Y/N looked a little bit red and placed her palm on his forehead.
Y/N: "I said I'm okay haha, what are you doing?"
Ayano: "Thought you might have a fever."
They both then found a bench to sit and opened their bentos. "This looks delicious," Ayano said as she looked at Y/N smiling and he smiled back. After finishing their food, Ayano noticed Taro, as well as Osana and Raibaru. Oh boy, Y/N thought. "Don't get caught creeping around lol," Y/N said as he went downstairs.
On the way, he was stopped by one of his classmates, Kashiko Murasaki.
Kashiko: "Hey, Y/N!"
Y/N: "What's up?"
Kashiko: "In class today, were you paying attention at all? You kept looking at the door."
Y/N: "Oh, I just couldn't wait for class to be over, is all."
Kashiko: "Right, Mr. I always do my homework in school. Anyway, someone told me to give this to you."
Kashiko handed Y/N a folded paper. He opened it and it said "meet me in the incinerator at lunch later".
Y/N: "Kashiko, who gave you th—?"
Kashiko had already left and Y/N thought on what to do. After a few minutes of pondering, curiosity got the best of him and he decided to go to the incinerator.
He went around the corner and saw the five guys that saw his embarrassing moment earlier today. "Oh, you wanted to see me?" Y/N asked them. "All you," one of them tapped Umeji's shoulder. They then left Y/N and Umeji alone.
Awkward silence filled the air and the tension and pressure was becoming weird. Y/N got the weird feelings again; that same one he felt in class today.
Umeji: "Do you want something from me?"
Umeji finally asked, clearing the suspense.
Y/N: "No? Why?"
Umeji: "Why did you keep staring at me in class today? Himari saw it too."
I was doing that? What was I doing?, he thought to himself.
Umeji: "Hey."
Umeji was cold-mannered and serious. What's this guy's problem, or perhaps?
Umeji: "Are you trying to get into the Delinquents Club or something?"
Y/N: "Wh-what?! I mean I'm already in the Occult club. It's not like that. I was just looking at the door I wanted to go to lunch early."
Y/N's heart was beating faster at this point, although he was still oblivious to what was going on.
Umeji: "Hmm, well if that's the case... I could've sworn you looked away as soon as I saw you looking 'at the door'."
Y/N: "Haha, I-I just thought it was embarrassing—"
Umeji: "That I caught you looking at me?"
At this point, Y/N became more conflicted as he battled with his own thoughts. Was I staring at him?, he asked himself as he shook his head.
Y/N: "I wasn't staring at you."
Umeji shrugged as he looked at you, forming a small smirk on his face.
Then, the bell rang and it was time for second period.
A/N: Chapter 2 will be divided into two parts as this was kind of short, but I didn't wanna disappoint lol. Class has been... ugh.
