The Truth

Derek's POV:
Once I got back to Beacon Hills m, I took Lucy mother to a small hotel in Beacon Hills so Lucinda doesn't know I found her before the wedding. I started to drive back to Elijah's house where I know Lucinda and Talia are because they go to his house everyday to spend time with him. I pulled up to the drive way and saw Lucy's car parked up front. I got out of my car and walked inside the house and heard someone running down stairs. I looked up at the steps and saw my daughter Talia.

"Daddy!" She yelled to me in excitement. She run to me and hug me in her arms and pick her up and started walking to the kitchen and found Elijah and Lucy making lunch.

"Hey honey, how was the pack in Colorado?" Lucy asked me.

"It was good. The pack is fine. The Alpha of the pack was a good friend of mine from college in New York." I told her and behind her and kissed her head while still holding Talia.

"Daddy, did anybody turn into a full wolf like you?" Talia asked was with a smile.

"I don't know, I didn't get the chance to asked but I'll ask next time." I told her and sat her down in a chair and heard a knock on the door. I got up and Talia followed me and grabbed my hand. I opened the door to see Scott and Malia.

"Hey guys come in. Lucy, Scott and Malia are here." I yelled out to her.

"Uncle Scott." Talia said and jumped in Scott's arms.

"Hey kiddo, how's my little munchkin doing?" Scott asked her and followed me to the kitchen.

"I'm good." She told Scott and they started to talk.

"Elijah, I need to talk to you." I told him.

"Okay, let's go to my office and talk." He told me and I nodded and followed him to his office. Once we got to the office I closed the door and locked it so we wouldn't be interrupted by anyone.

"Is everything alright?" Elijah asked me.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked him.

"Tell you what?" He asked.

"That you are Lucinda's biological father." I told him and he stayed silent. He walked over to his desk and pulled out a file of Lucinda's birth certificate, and a photo of the day she was born.

"I had to kept this quiet for a long time but my question is how did you find out?" He asked me in a questioning tone.

"From Lucinda's mother, Melissa. I found her in Colorado when I was visiting the pack." I told him and he sat down in his chair and rested his head in his hands.

"Trust me, I have been wanting to tell you and Lucy everything okay. But when Lucy was born and we found I was the father. Klaus threaten to hurt her. So I have to say I was her uncle but we made two birth certificate one with my name as her father and the other one with Klaus's name as her father. After a few days of spending time with Melissa and Lucy, I told Melissa to go somewhere far away and hide her from Klaus. It worked for awhile but then Klaus found her and threaten to kill her. Klaus sent a letter to Lucy when she just turned 11 and told her that he was her father and want to see her. But there was a letter for Melissa as well say that he will hurt Lucy if she didn't come and live with us. After Lucy arrived to New Orleans for the first to see her fake father, he told me if I do anything to stop him with what he was going to do too her, he would kill her and said those same exact words to me again the month when she started to get abused." He explained to me. I picked up the pictures of Lucy when she was born and in her really fathers arms.

"Why didn't you tell her when she first moved in with you, when we first started dating?" I asked Elijah.

"I really wanted to but I didn't know how to tell her." He told me.
