Lucinda's Mother

Derek's POV:

It's been almost 5 years and I haven't found Lucinda's mother. Over the past few year I looked up car crashes in 2007. I found one and it said that the women driving the car was name Melissa Swan and survived the crash. Lucinda and I are get married on are 5 year anniversary of being engaged to each other and I want to surprise her. I told Lucinda I had something to do in Colorado about a werewolf pack and she believed me. I wasn't really lying though because her mother helped a werewolf pack and they have let her stay in the pack.

Once I got to Colorado and got to the werewolf pack. I could smell a human in their pack and I wanted to talk to her but the betas wouldn't let me, so I went to go talk to their alpha, who was a good friend of mine in college back at New York.

"Derek Hale." My friend told me.

"Mark Morgan, it's good to see you again old friend." I told him and he smile.

"What beings you here?" He asked me.

"I need to speak with the human in your pack." I told him and before he could say anything, Lucinda's mother came in.

"Sir...I'm sorry am I interrupting?" She asked us.

"No, in fact my friend would like to talk to you. I'll leave you two alone." He told us and left.

"Is there something I can help you with?" She asked me.

"I just talk want to talk. Please have a seat." I told her and she sat down on the couch. I pulled up a chair in front of her and pulled out a picture of Lucinda when she was 11 and 16, then showed her the one when Lucy was 11.

"Do you know her?" I asked her.

"That is my daughter, Lucinda. How did you get that picture?" She asked me. I showed her the picture of when Lucy was 16.

"Your daughter Lucinda thinks you have been died for about 9 years because when you got in a car accident in 2007, her own father Klaus Mikaelson, told her you were dead. When Lucinda was 16 she ran away from New Orleans to Beacon Hills because Klaus and Hope started to abused her for 5 years." I told her and she grabbed the picture of when Lucy was 16 out of my hand and examined it more. She look up at me with tears in her eyes.

"How do you know all this?" She asked me.

"Because I'm her fiancé. My name is Derek Hale. I have been look over her ever since she got to Beacon Hills. When we first met she told me about how you were an amazing woman and mother to her and others." I told her. Tears started to fall down her cheeks.

"How long have you two been together?" She asked me, I smiled a just thinking about how long we've been together.

"5 years, we're getting married in month on are 5 year anniversary." I told her and she smile. Her smile look just like Lucinda's and it made me happy.

"Why did you come find me?" She asked me.

"I want to surprise Lucy, by having you at are wedding. Are you alright with that?" I asked her and she nodded. I pulled her in for a hug and she started to cry tears of joy of seeing her own daughter again. I let her go and looked down at her with a smile.

"Thank you. You have no idea how long I have been wanting to see my daughter." She told me.

"There is one more thing I want to tell you." I told her.

"What is it?" She asked me.

"You are a grandmother. Me and Lucy have a 5 year old daughter name Talia and Lucy was 16, when Talia was born." I told her and she smiled at me.

"I'm a grandma. It's about time, I get to have a grandkid." She told me and I laughed.  

"Thank you so much. I can't wait for the wedding." She told me and I told her the wedding was in a month and how I want to surprise Lucy before the ceremony. She agreed and also decide to come home with me now and just hide somewhere in Beacon hills.

I said goodbye to Mark and he was happy I found my fiancé mother and after all these years. I helped Melissa put her this in the car and we began to drive off to Beacon Hills. We drove in silence which was kind off weird but I look over at Melissa and she was hold a picture of Lucy in her hands.

"Why didn't you go back to Lucy after the accident?" I asked her.

"Klaus said if I came anywhere close to New Orleans, he would kill Lucy." She told me.

"Is Klaus really her father? Because every time I look at her she looks more and more like Elijah everyday. Elijah, Rebekah and Kol, have been her family ever since she ran away New Orleans." I told her.

"No Klaus is not her father, Elijah is her real father. I did have sex with him a month before I have sex with Elijah. Once I found out I was pregnant with Lucy, I told Klaus and Elijah. They both agreed to take a maturity test and once Lucy was born and they took the test it said that Elijah was the father. But Klaus threatened to hurt Lucy if I didn't tell Lucy it was Klaus who was the father. That guilt has lived with me ever since the day I had to give her up to Klaus." She told me and I was shocked. Elijah has been a father figure to Lucy ever since he moved to Beacon Hills and now I know why.

"Elijah, he loves Lucinda. But there is another person who loves her as his own daughter and that is Chris Argent. Ever since she ran away from New Orleans to Beacon Hills, he treated her like his own daughter but his passed wife and his sister they abused her for a almost 5 months, and if I wasn't there to help her, she wouldn't be here today." I told her and she nodded.

"Did anything else happen to her while she was in Beacon Hills?" Melissa asked me.

"A little over 5 years ago. She was at a lacrosse game with her friends and she kneed a one of the players on the other team in the balls for smacking her ass, but after the game, she waited for her friends so they could take her home, but a few guys on the other team dragged her into the empty locker room and raped her. I heard her scream and ran back to the school and I found them raping her. All of them got arrested and I have been trying to protect her ever since that day." I told her and I looked over to her and tears filled her eyes.

"Is okay, now?" She asked me.

"She is." I told her and she smiled then looked over to me.

"Thank you for being there for her. She is going to be the happiest person to have someone like you in her life." She told me and I smiled.

"Thank you." I told her.

  As the I kept driving, I couldn't help but think about how I would surprise Lucy with her mother on are wedding day. I also have to talk to Elijah about Lucinda's mother. But I could help but smile about how my life was going to be with Lucy and Talia as an actual family.
