I was awoken by someone knocking on my door .I was my maid Claire."my lady I have brought you some tea and clean towels". I slid off my nightgown and put on a dark blue dress and but in so gold and blue earrings. I made my way down stairs to have breakfast. When I entered the dining room my mom queen Victoria and dad Prince Albert were sitting down having breakfast.They gave me a quick glance and I sat down on the opposite side of the table. Just as I was about to take a bit of my toast my older brother Arthur came in a hugged me from behind. "Happy 16th birthday" "thanks" I replied before taking a bite of my toast.

After breakfast I went up to my room to finish getting ready I brushed my teeth and brushed my curly brown hair. I decided that I would go into town with Claire to get a few things. I put on my coat and my boots and walked out the door with Claire. I decided I would go the Louis bakery. While Claire went to seamstress. When I walked into the bakery I saw my crush and childhood best friend Thomas. "Hi Amelia". "Hi Thomas"."happy birthday ". He said handing my a basket full of different kind of bread."thank you".
