Over the course of a week, you got to know better the ghouls. Dew is... well, what you see is what you get. He's a show off, he's rash, and a little arrogant. But energetic and not unlike a cat when he wants attention.
Aether is a little more complicated. He feels responsible for everyone that lives here and everyone who enters here. So he deals with most of the complicated things and takes care of his "children". He often looses the little riff battles to Dew on purpose.
Cumulos and Cirrus aren't blood sisters, but they act like it. Since they both have each other, and just each other, nothing has really come between them.
And all of the male ghouls kind of bow down to them in a way. It's a ghoul thing I guess.Mountain is gentle in all sense of the word and he is tall. Like a head and a half taller than Copia and Terzo. And he is kind of just existing. He was summoned here like everyone else and he's really grateful to be away from hell.
Swiss is confident, naturally talented, and energetic. If he wasn't a ghoul, I think he'd have ADHD, but no. He's charming and likes to eat healthy, a good role model all around.
I know little about Rain at the moment but that's what this weekend is for, it's just some tea time in the bell tower since Nihil can't go up there anymore and no one else really goes up there. And that's after Cirrus takes me shopping. She got permission from Copia and we'll be heading out on Friday morning before another Ritual.
But that's what I know about the ghouls. Copia and the papas however, are descendants of Vehem and Vexil. Vehem is human and Vexil was a ghoul. But the ghoul blood has become so diluted that it's hardly present in them. Nihil had three sons, Primo, Secundo and Terzo. But Terzo is technically a bastard of Nihil but still was treated the same. Copia is more like a cousin from what I understand. With no heirs from the main three, Copia has been but in charge.
But it seems like they take turns with normal mass while Copia is a full time performer as they all once were.
But anyway, it's come to the end of the week, it's Friday and Cirrus is taking me to the local mall, I think it's called Risio mall.
——————————————
When we got there I didn't expect such a normal mall. The whole town and few towns over are all much like the church. Gothic, punk-like and luciferian. But this is modern and poppy."Weird right?" Cirrus hopped out of Copia's car.
"Right..." I couldn't help but look around. This is what they all like? It's off and artificial.
"Alright Cirrus, don't go overboard, Secundo is still pissed at me for spending a lot on last ritual." Copia handed Cirrus his wallet with a warning like a parent would.
"Of course Copia, it's not just for me." She said before excitedly grabbing my hand and running off into the mall.
Most of the day was underwear shopping. There was a store... Victoria's Secret? I shared with them what the actual secret is what there store is named after and then no one would help us with sizes. But we figured it out and got a lot of wireless bras and undies. Just comfy stuff.
As for shoes, we got sneakers, heels, dressy shoes, and chunky boots. It wasn't so hard, but the shoe store was unnecessarily cold.
The rest was easy, we went to Spencer's and Hot Topic and other stores for alternative fashion and got t-shirts, shorts, pants, sweaters, blouses, dress pants, a sexy dress, and socks and stuff. Accessories.
It took up about four hours of our day and Copia was displeased with how long we took since he had to sit in the food court while listening to their boring pop music.
I promised Cirrus I would take her shopping somewhere or we'd go for brunch sometime and I'd pay. Which means the clergy will have to give me a formal job to be paid for.
That'll have to happen another time.

I managed to slip away from Copia to make a run for it to get into the practice room. Everyone was practicing since they all tend to take the rituals seriously."Hey Mari." Aether greeted after throwing his pick at a frustrated Dew.
"Hey Aether, how are you?"
"I'm fine thanks for asking." He chuckled in his warm tone, "How was your day, did Cirrus give you any trouble?" He asked half heartedly, he knew Cirrus isn't as mischievous or a prankster as the seemingly sweet Cumulus.
"No everything was great. As you can see, we did a lot of shopping, but I forgot I have to go put this all away, so I'll be back in a half hour." I waved with a full, aching hand.
"Here let me help you." Rain said, taking what I had in one hand and most of what I had in the other.
"Wait wait wait!" I laughed after him as began walking towards the "room".
"What? I'm helping out, unless you don't want me to." He said while opening the door with his elbow as if he'd done it a hundred times.
"No I appreciate it really, but... it feels weird letting people do nice things for me, can you let me do this for myself?"
"Mari, we're already here." He said, referencing to my cornflower blue room.
I slumped with a grumpy frown.
"I was heading this way anyway. Dew is refusing to clean up the picks he threw so I'm grabbing a dust pan." He mumbled while setting down the bags on the bed.
"Thank you Rain, your really didn't have to help."
"I know, I wanted to." He said with a small smile.
I spent the afternoon putting my clothes away and listening to the ghouls rehearse. I can't help but feel lucky to have them. If I'd known I could have such happiness, I would've sought it sooner.
