"How many humans are we going to let him kill before I deal with him?!" Sunstreaker rages, "or are you so focused on trying to prove I'm the killer?!"
"I agree; forget a trial and sentence. Kill that fragger!" Jolt argues.
"You want me to execute Sunstreaker?" Ratchet asks. The five mechs Ratchet suggested that to couldn't believe what Ratchet just said. Something hits Ratchet in the head, "what the frag?!"
They didn't expect Jamie to reveal herself, clearly livid.
"Easy, you know he can't do that," Sunstreaker tells her.
"The fact that he means it is a problem!" Jamie rages and slaps Ratchet before walking away; Sunstreaker follows her.
"I could arrest you for suggesting that," Prowl points out, "even if you are joking, but the fact you've openly talked about believing Sunstreaker is the killer wouldn't help your claim that you're not serious."
"I believe the fact that he angered a patient is punishment enough," Jolt points out.
"I fear you're right, Jolt," Optimus worries.
Sunstreaker catches up with Jamie and hugs her.
"I don't think he means it even if he thinks I'm the killer," Sunstreaker then realizes its likely Jamie didn't know about the holiday killer, "you don't know what's going on, do you?" He asks.
Jamie tells him she knows what's going on. To Sunstreaker's surprise, Jamie doesn't think it's him but adds she knows he didn't stop killing humans. Sunstreaker doesn't question how she knows about the humans he's killed while she wasn't in this dimension.
I doubt her guardians tell her. It's my reputation. Sunstreaker assumes.
As Sunstreaker and Jamie walk down the hell, they cross paths with Betty Henderson.
"See? You're worthless that you're a psychopath's slave," she mocks.
"I heard you're pregnant. Maybe I should just kill you and that brat now!" Sunstreaker threatens as he looks at Jamie, "better yet, I hope that brat of yours is bullied from the day it's born!"
He takes Jamie's hand, and the two go down the hall.
As Sunstreaker sits in his art room with Jamie, he thinks about trying to find the holiday killer.
How long before Jamie or Lily cross paths with him? Sunstreaker questions. The sooner I find him, the sooner I know those two are safe and Ratchet can stop accusing me.
Sunstreaker is distracted until he feels water on his hand, but it's not water; rather, Jamie is crying. Sunstreaker is bothered by Jamie trying not to cry because she is with him.
"It's ok; even if Ratchet means it, he'll be in trouble if he does anything."
Sunstreaker worries about what else Jamie could be thinking.
Sunstreaker: you have no clue what you have done! She's with me.
Ratchet reads the text, knowing Jamie's mental state results in Jamie taking Ratchet's comment as having no problem killing incurable patients.
"That's not what I meant," Jolt argues after Ratchet shows him the text and what he thinks Jamie is thinking, arguing Jolt must be happy, "that's a serious problem."
"No shit!"
As if we didn't have enough to deal with. Ratchet despises. A patient suddenly distrusting their doctor is bad, and I think my friendship is damaged.
Sunstreaker doesn't know that Sideswipe felt how concerned he was earlier. Sideswipe gets Jamie to play video games with him and Lily in his room. As far as Sunstreaker knows, neither Jamie's guardians nor Sideswipe knows what happened today. He knows Crosshairs and Drift will find out soon if Jamie tries to avoid Ratchet.
Sunstreaker waits until midnight to leave the base. Not caring that Ratchet will consider this evidence that he's the killer.
The guards don't question him as he drives off the property.
He drives out of the city and down a dirt road.
That aft used an abandoned warehouse in the city before, and he wouldn't return to the same location. Sunstreaker believes.
As he drives down the road, Sunstreaker is shot at. The shot forces him to transform.
Sunstreaker looks around but sees no one.
That fragging spy followed me! Sunstreaker believes.
"Show yourself, Mirage!"
Sunstreaker hears peds walking towards him, which wouldn't be heard if this was Mirage. Whoever this is, walls slow but quickly pick up the pace, grab Sunstreaker and knock him out.
"Some psychopath killer you are," the mystery cybertronian says, "hard to believe you weren't taken down sooner."
Sunstreaker's optics online revealing bars. He looks around to see bars on all three sides. His arms and legs are chained, and all he knows is he is in a cell or cage.
"Ah, so you're Sunstreaker," a man's voice says.
Sunstreaker thought he'd see another cybertronian he's never met before, not a human.
"No fragging way a fleshie shot me!"
"You're right; I had help. My associate has been a big help," the human removes his hood and face covering, "for example, how someone mistook me for you even with my scars. My associate told me all about you. If the ones you work with haven't accused you yet, they will soon. In the meantime," the associate electrocute Sunstreaker until he's in stasis, "the first responders and Autobots will be busy tomorrow.
