I snuck off trying not to wake Silco and went to the kitchen. I got myself a glass of water and a couple pieces of fruit. I sat down at the table and started eating my food. God I was so hungry.

Though it was probably between 1-3am and I had last eaten at dinner I was still starving.

I finished my food and then went to use the bathroom.

Then back to bed with Silco. This happened usually twice a night, depending on how much I ate for dinner but it happened frequently.

I didn't even know how far along I was. It has been more than a month since I told Silco, but I wasn't even showing yet.

I snuggled myself into Silco as I got comfortable once again.

It feels like five minutes of sleep before I'm woken in a panic to the loud noise coming from outside. I flung myself forward in panic, waking Silco up.

It was definitely more than five minutes, you could see a slight sunlight in the undercity meaning it was day.

Bang

Again, the sound. I stare at the window in panic. "Y/n it's probably-" I bottle of alcohol is throw threw the window, that is lit on fire, and I use my hands to cover my head in protection.

"Right Fuckers!" I hear Jinx scream as she burst through the door and climbed through the smashed window. I felt the cold breeze hit my arms. I heard gunshots and I flinched at everyone of them.

The whole time this was going on Silco threw on some clothes and got me out of bed, taking me into his office.

I was still in my pyjamas so I hoped no one come in. I seen Silco finish putting on his vest and grab his coat. "Where are you going?" I ask.

"To make sure Jinx is safe, stay here out of trouble, Sevika will be on the other side of the door."

"You don't think?"

"Stay here love, I will deal with them soon." He says as he kissed by head and then opened the door and left.

Time passed by and I sat alone. Reading the book I left in here and then going through some of the paperwork that was lying on the desk.

The cold spread throughout the room as time went on. I opened the door slightly to see Sevika standing outside as Silco asked her too.

"Sevika? Could you grab me a jumper from my room? ...and maybe something to eat?" I ask.

"Sure thing, y/n." She replied. I close the door once again and continue reading my book until I get bored of it again. I lay on the couch with my thoughts to myself.

My mind begged the question. Was that my dad or someone else? If it was my dad, Silco would realise my risk to my life and send me to piltover for my safety.

Now that I think of it, I don't really want to raise a kid in the environment downstairs. The fumes of alcohol and drugs aren't doing to any good for me or our baby.

Maybe the best option is to get an apartment close by but far enough so the music and riots can't be heard.

All thoughts were put to a close when knocking cam to the door. Sevika. I opened the door and she gave me a black hoodie and freshly prepared eggs. "Thank you so much Sevika, this is amazing! You could come in if you like." I offer but she shakes her head.

"Bosses orders, can't." I put the plate of eggs down on the coffee table infront of the couch and throw the hoodie over my head. "Your orders are to stand outside and make sure I'm safe, you wouldn't be disobeying your orders by keeping me company." I tell her. "If he makes a fuss I'll stand up for you."

"Thanks y/n." She says as she came in and closed the door. She sat down with me as I ate. "So Sevika, have you got anyone special yet. I seen you with a women the other night, is she your type?" I ask, trying to make conversation and to get to know Sevika. We have quite a few interactions and she only knew about me, so I thought it was time to make up for it.

"Clementine? Yeah she's nice, maybe a bit too nice."

"Why would you say?"

"Most people down here always have a dark side, I'm just used to people who are more violent than actually polite."

"Maybe she does have a dark side, you just have to stick around to see it." I point out. "Yeah I was first hired as a assassin but I don't think you knew if I had it in me to kill some if I remembered correctly." I say with a smug look on my face.

"You may be right, I'm seeing her again tonight. Well as long as I can get off work." She tells me. I smile and wink at her. "I'll do my best." I laugh.

By an hour had passed we were both talking about piltover and mocking them. Sevika brought out a hip flask, probably had some kind of vodka or whiskey in It. "You want some?" She offers I shake my head.

"I'm okay thanks." I declined her offer that made her pull a suspicious look on her face. "Y/n declining a drink in a boring situation? You are turning your life around." I laugh at her comment. She didn't know of course. Only person other than Silco was jinx. We had wanted to go tell my family today but then this happened.

Around 20 more minutes of talking Silco burst through the door. He looks relieved to see me and Sevika. I'm quick to stand up and notice what was wrong.

He had a massive bruise coming up on his face on the opposite side to his scar. "Honey what happened!?" I ask as I touch the side of his face with my fingers lightly.

"Those people, who attacked are window they- they were working for your dad. His intentions are to bring down are empire as he called it."

"You spoke to him directly?" I ask, as I pushed back his hair that hung over his face. He nods. I turn to Sevika and signal her to give us some privacy. She takes the hint and quietly exits the room.

"Y/n I don't want to see you and your family suffer."

"We need to kill him. If he finds out that I'm carrying your baby he will only become more mad. He's been planning this for more than a year, I bet." I say that part more quietly in case Sevika was still outside.

Silco is looking at my worried expression on my face.

"How's jinx?"

"She got a word for her language but she's doing great." He replied following a small laugh. I put a slight smile on my face. "How have you been? Any more sickness?" He asks tracing a finger down my check bone.

"Just utterly starving." I complained jokingly. Though I was starving. He smiled at my antics. "Do you have anything in mind?" He asks me.

"Anything, I'm not fussed along as I get out of this boring~ room." I joke. Hormones. He smiled at me once more and took my hand as we left for the kitchen.

I sat at the table as Silco prepared some kind of lunch. I wanted to discuss getting an apartment. I didn't want to argue about it, just bring up the subject.

"Maybe we should get an apartment, separate from here."

"Why do you say that?"

"The fumes of shimmer, alcohol and the rest of the drugs isn't going to be any good for our baby's development, it could leave some sort of disability in his or her growth. And do you know how much of a pain in the ass it would be to raise a kid with all the loud music and riots that go on downstairs."

He took a second to think. "We can bring the idea up with your mum when we go see her? It's not a bad idea and I respect your worry."

"Yeah...while she forces us to go to the piltover hospital." I complained.

"We haven't even told her yet."

"She lives in piltover,I think I was born in piltover. She will want us to get a proper doctor."

"She only cares for you my love."
