You Can't Have Darkness Without Light

"Who knew someone could be so cold? I knew. I know why the doctor is this way, I just haven't got to telling anyone." the journal from the experiment read. Dr. K was in disbelief as he read further into it. He stood from his desk, setting the journal down onto it. He'd take a step back, thinking of the experiment's punishment, or perhaps, punishment may be unnecessary. People haven't seen him in such a light. One may argue that the doctor is just, sadistic to be sadistic. But that isn't the case, and the experiment knew that. How would they know? And why were they the first to? Dr. K picked up the journal, opening it, he'd continue to read "There are reasons, for his behavior, his interesting physique, the way he looks at you with narrow, dead eyes."
"He never wanted to be the way he is."
Dr. K's eyes shined with tears as he read the last of the experiment's statements. It was true, he'd do anything to change, he just lost control.
That's when Dr. K realized, he needed to confirm these statements, he needed to ask the experiment themselves if it was true. He needed confirmation. His face was damp with emotion, he couldn't describe this feeling, it was like no other. It was as if someone finally understood. And that means he can change. Lance let a shaky breath escape him, as he carefully closed the journal. At that moment, he felt as if showing weakness, by tears. And after a while stopped crying, hoping no one would ever discover he did such a thing. Why did he want people to fear him...?
The last sentence he read from the journal, "Because he fears himself."
