AFTER ALICIA HAD EXPLAINED everything to Ashtray, she had decided to go home which he had quickly declined but she had walked out the door anyways which now brought them walking together on the sidewalk to bring her home.
She had told him that she didn't want to talk about the situation anymore so he had dropped it like he had promised her as they walked hand in hand.
"Why couldn't we just stay at my place?" Ashtray asked as he swung they interlaced hands back in forth in the air.
"I just want to check up on my mom." Alicia told him as she stared down at the ground and kicked the pebble of rocks.
"Oh.."
"Yeah.."
It was awkward which made Alicia a little bit uncomfortable. This is the reason she didn't wanna say anything to him about the situation in the first place.
And she knew he wanted to go more in depth about everything, but he was just following her wish to not speak about it.
As they made it to Alicia's house she had cleared her throat as she turned towards him as they were still holding hands "I'll be right back, so just.. Stay here, for now."
"Alright."
As he responded she ran up the steps and to the door that was literally almost never locked and opened it.
As she walked in she expected to see her mom passed out on the couch but she didn't which was odd in her opinion, but she was most likely just getting drunk with her old musty friends.
She even circled around the whole couch and didn't see any of her moms liquor bottles on the ground or her lit out cigarettes.
"What the hell?" Alicia muttered in confusion seeing that the house was spotless.
She had stared around at the spotless house for a bit longer before shaking her head with a sigh and bolting up the stair's to her room.
Another reason she had wanted to go home was to change out her clothes that were covered in soda due to when she dropped it out of surprise.
She did want to take a shower, but she knew Ashtrays impatient ass was not gonna like that.
So Alicia just changed real quick, and as she looked down to grab the pants she had placed on the bed, she noticed a envelope that had her name on it.
Her eyebrows furrowed as she reached forward and grabbed it, before she teared the envelope open and grabbed the pink note inside.
