I'm not even old enough
To know how life gets
But he's gambling with life
And I'm placing my bets

He didn't mean to do it
Wrong time and wrong place
He just came out of no where
Then the shock on his face

To see me standing
In the center of the street
A ball in my hand
Then my blood at his feet

He had his drink
No saying goodbye
If mom had saw me
She'd be traumatized

And I know I'll miss
All the benefits of life
Like swinging with my friends
And riding my bike

But the reflection of my face
In his windshield gets closer
And I'm standing there frozen
As my body gets colder

And because he drank
He cost me my life
He's death at my doorstep
And he's holding the scythe
