During college, I was always at parties. Wether that be with Issac, Jess or even just random kids from my classes.

But I always promised myself one thing.
To never touch alcohol in my life.

It's just a poison that slowly kills your liver after time. Rotting it away without you even knowing.

Even after three years, I still think about that night.

Yes, it may have ruined me. But it also give me a reason to live.

You may be asking why. Why would that give you a reason, when all he did was hurt you, manipulate those feelings of love towards him.

Well that's because I was given my two bundles of sunshine, that was currently running around the room searching for the poor, terrified cat that pops in and out throughout the day.

The twins give me hope.

"Mama! Chocolate please?" Speak of the devils, they shall show.

"Yeah mama! Where's my chocolate?"  Now that's definitely not my child.

Paige, my best friend flops onto my sofa. She has a bag of crisps in one hand and the tv remote in the other.

"When did you get here?" I ask, whilst walking to the kitchen and breaking three pieces of chocolate off the bar from the fridge.

"Not too long. About ten minutes?" Lily jumps into her lap as I pass them both a slab of chocolate, giving the other one to Jack.

"Why didn't I hear the door open?" Sitting down on the sofa and putting her legs in my lap.

She shrugs and goes back to finding a movie to watch.

"Oh! I forgot to mention. I'm having a party at my place next week, your coming along too."

"I don't know Paige, parties aren't my thing anymore."

Paige raises her eyebrow. "Don't give me that. Your nineteen, not twenty something. Live a little...I will ask your dad to watch the kids!"
