As you had done with the cover previously you began to trace the black ink letters with your fingers, still impressed by the penmen ship as you were the day you lay eyes on it. It was perfect, perfect like the boy who wrote it. A small smile danced upon your lips as picture the blonde. Bright blue eyes as big as the ocean you had read about in one of his secret books and his sweet yet shy nature that made you feel warm and fuzzy.

Suddenly you heard your name spoken in that uniquely soft tone that you knew so well. You woke from your day dream as if a bubble had been popped and you realized you were sat under the willow just smiling at a book. A feeling of self consciousness washed over you as you raised your eyes to see the familiar blonde stood in his usual awkward I'm-not-sure-what-to-do-with-myself position.

You bite your lip, he was so adorable. Messy golden locks ruffled, but never looking out of place and his slight frame, covered with perfect milky white skin. Like you and the rest of the cadets, Armin had decided to give uniform a miss for today and had gone with a plain white t shirt and a pair of navy blue shorts. You liked the casual look on him, it suited him.

"Hey Armin, did I nick you spot?" you laugh, motioning to the area around you. His stance relaxes and his face seems to brighten at your comment.

"Although I do like this spot _____, I was actually looking for you" He replied with a smile as he walked closer and sat beside you. At that moment your heart jumped a little, damn why does this always happen you thought to yourself. He's only sat next to me, calm the hell down _____.

After you finished internally scowling yourself for getting over excited you turned your attention back to Armin.

"I want to show this, I found it in the library stock cupboard earlier. It was hidden under some boxes. I've only read a little, but it's about life before all this. Before the titans even walked the Earth." the excitement and pride of his discovery was clear in his features, his big blue orbs searching for a reaction in your face.

Your (colour) eyes widen, you glanced at the dusty black leather bound in his lap and then returned them to his face, seeing the happiness and excitement lay upon it. You gave him the biggest toothiest grin you could as you felt the excitement bubble up through your whole being.

"Let's not waste anymore time then, Mr Arlet, we best get reading!"
