The night went by slowly. I couldn't observe Lucifer anymore, because I was afraid he'd catch me in the act and there wasn't much else to look at in the room. My eyes were about to drop shut several times. I began pacing around the room to get some energy and I prayed several times to God to times to make time go by faster. Eventually, it was morning. Henry came knocking on the door and I let out a soft "come in". I felt like I was about to drop dead. "Good morning Marie, how was your night?" Henry said cheerfully. My human emotions felt like hitting him for being so cheerful and happy, but I didn't. "Good morning Henry! my night was uneventful, how about yours?" I asked smiling at him widely. "My night was filled with sleep, unlike yours... but, you look really tired. you can sleep now; I will take over from here" He said. I briefly looked over at Lucifer, who was still sleeping. I nodded at Henry and laid my head back on the chair I was sitting on. Happy because I wasn't the one to wake Lucifer up. I fell asleep almost instantly.

I was awoken by someone shaking me. "Marie?" said Ella – "we have to leave now". I opened my eyes looking directly at Ella as she was standing right in front of me. "I'm on my way" I said while I tried fighting back a yawn. "We are downstairs" she said, before walking out the door. I rubbed my eyes, looking around the room. All of Lucifer's things were gone, including Lucifer. I slowly got up, not bothering to change my clothes. I grabbed my suitcase and headed out. Lucifer was sitting right outside of the room, waiting for me. The 20-meter-ting was not going to be easy. "Good morning beautiful, how was your night?" he asked. I didn't answer just made a humming sound as a response. I felt too tired to talk. I began walking downstairs with Lucifer right behind me. Every time I blinked, it was a fight to get my eyelids back up, therefor it shouldn't have been a surprise when I missed a step and came falling down the stairs. Before my head hit the stairs, a strong pair of arms caught me, lifting me. When I opened my eyes it was Lucifer who was holding me. My face was only a few centimetres from his, which made my heart jump. My friends were standing at the end of the stairs looking rather chocked. Adrenaline was shooting through my veins and I instinctively pushed myself away from Lucifer, which send me flying down the stairs again. "Wait!" Lucifer shouted grabbing my hand. I was now standing with one foot on the stairs leaning dangerously too much to one side, the only thing holding me back was Lucifer's hand grabbing mine. Not long after, Frank and Henry came rushing to my side lifting me so I was standing horizontal again.

"Thank you" I told Frank and Henry who helped me up. I tried to avoid eye contact with Lucifer. Being pressed up against him started something in me, that I didn't want to explore.

"Oh thank you Lucifer for saving me" Lucifer said, trying to impersonate my voice. "Oh you're welcome Marie, anytime" he then answered himself. Henry sent him a dirty look, making Lucifer roll his eyes but making him quiet for a while. I sent Lucifer a small smile, as that was the only thing I could comprehend.

"Are you okay?" Ida came up to me, laying a hand on my shoulder. I nodded, smiling at her- assuring her I was fine. We all went to the car, getting in, with Lucifer and Frank in the back seat. Me, Ella and Ida in the middle and Henry and Edward in front. I all of a sudden felt tired again and quickly fell back asleep.

The week went by quickly. I was up all night and slept all day. I didn't talk much to my friends and I only had brief and short conversations with Lucifer at night. One night we had decided to spend a little bit more money on a hotel than usual. Mainly to celebrate that we were successful with our mission so far. The hotel we got decided on, had bathrooms in the rooms, which was a huge deal since I often had to wake Lucifer up so he could follow me to the bathroom and back. He found it both annoying and humours and I only found it embarrassing.

"Look Marie, a bathroom" said Lucifer pointing at the bathroom in our room. "Now you don't have to wake me up anymore" I rolled my eyes at him. He could be annoying if he wanted to. I laid myself on the only bed in the room, hoping to get some sleep before Lucifer went to sleep.
