Where am i? Chp. 4

Y/N's POV:

I woke up to see a white room. Where am I?! I started to look around until I saw a familiar pink haired boy. "M-Mitsuba...?" I mumbled but since he looked back I'm guessing he heard me.

"(Y-Y/N)?!?" I felt hot tears streaming down my face I couldn't help it. He was there my best friend was there, my dead best friend was there. But then I remembered what I came here for.

My wish

I ran to him and attacked him with a hug. "W-What are you doing here?!" Mitsuba said returning the gesture. "You stupid moron don't tell me you died... right..?" I heard him say that with worried all written on his face (does that even make sense??)

"You're leaving." I said with a cold voice like I was mad at him. I was but it wasn't his fault that he died. "What do you mean 'I'm leaving'?" I sighed and get out of the hug.

"Im taking you're place Mitsuba!" I said as I smiled but under that smile was nothing but sadness. "Huh?" I heard Mitsuba say like I was speaking another language.

"Im dying and taking you're place as the dead!" I put on a weak smile to reassure him that it was gonna be okay. I was sure of my choice. I wasn't gonna regret it anytime soon.

"Y-You can't! What about the everybody you love what about your friends your parents your family?! You can't die!" Mitsuba said it looks like he was about to cry. I don't blame him.

"It's gonna be okay don't worry.."

Two words I could never trust. Even Mitsuba knew what those dreadful words meant. "Worry it won't be okay worry"

I look up to see him crying. Crying? Why?

"Mitsuba it's gonna be oka—"

"Stop. Stop saying that you know it's not gonna be okay so why even try..?"

As Mitsuba said those words I saw him disappear. I'm guessing I was too because he had the same exact shocked expression I was making.

Smile don't cry smile this is what you wanted right?
