I walked towards the window to see who it was who had just pulled into our driveway, who were our 'guests' ?

It was Lucy, her mother Carol, and her father Paul. Lucy is my best friend.

My eyes widen, and my heart filled with the sudden erge to fun to Lucy and jump into her arms, beg her to save me... But I knew only too well what would happen if I did. I watched as my mother greeted them friendly. I watched helplessly as they went through the front door, wishing I could join them. I tiptoed over the broken glass that covered my floor, heading towards my bed. I lay their, still crying and still shaking... As I drift into a deep sleep.

------------

I was awaken by the sound of a car starting in the driveway, I got up and walked toward the window once again, only this time to see Lucya and her parents leaving. They drove down the driveway waving to my mother, unaware that I was here, soon their car was gone and I could hear footsteps walking up the stairs to my bedroom. My eyes widened and my breath caughgt in my throat as I scanned the room trying to find somewhere to hide. Just then the door burst open and my mother came in, the same hatred on her face from when she left my room earlier, before the guests arrived.

"Now, where were we?" She mumbled with a evil smirk on her face.

Yet another night of blood and tears, hoping to slip away with the wind, perish like dust... or just dissapear.... But it never happens.
