Although Ryu told herself that she will act like nothing's wrong, she couldn't help but feel the hair on her skin rise the closer the carrot head came.
She couldn't help it, the carrot head reminded her too much of that day.
It was cold on that day, and windy too. It was pouring heavily. All in all it was an ugly day, but that was why she loved it, for the day was ugly like her. In a way she had felt comforted. But it was all ruined by him. Of course it was.
When Ryu snapped out of her daydreams she saw in the side of her vision the carrot head coming very close to getting to her when the door suddenly opened, revealing a whole bunch of students ready to start the day.
Ryu almost sighed in relief when she saw the carrot head start walking back to his seat but didn't because then she would be showing weakness. Which would be breaking one of the many rules Ryu has made for herself.
Throughout the day, Ryu has seen out of the corner of her vision that Ham Dan-I is ignoring Ban Yeoryeong. Ryu couldn't help but find the fight between the two girls kind of amusing.
Although she didn't want to, she felt herself getting drawn towards Ham Dan-I. And this scared her. No way did she want to rely on anyone ever again, but since she was human...
Ryu's thoughts scared her, it made her feel nauseous, as if she could suddenly throw up out of nowhere.
As if she were trapped in a lion's den, with no chance of survival.
Her feelings scared her. This was the real reason that Ryu refused to become friends with Ham Dan-I.
She was scared she would be abandoned.
Like she has been, almost all her life.
To outsiders Ryu looks like a cold hearted monster, who seems to feast on others' sorrows.
When really, Ryu was just a broken girl who had been taught that love was for wimps. And in the real world, "Love" was fake and unnecessary. She was taught that the thing called "Love" was only something you would find in books. Something that never actually existed.
To others Ryu is a disgrace, a "villain" in a world of heroes.
Maybe others are right, and Ryu is a "Villain". But she was a villain that the world
created.
