So, okay, stuff, yay.

Okay, for real thus time, PLEASE leave suggestions for the next story soon. I'm probably going to end this one today. Maybe not in this chapter, but IDK.

And without further ado, I bring you this chapter.

"Okay, in order to bring Tails back from the dead, we need to find somthing called X." (Lol. I named it after myself.)

Eggman was telling Sonic how to bring Tails back to life. Sonic was listening VERY closely.

"You can find it on the tall hill by your house, Sonic."

"Got you, but what do we do with X?" (Lol)

"Let ME take care of that."

...

Once Sonic had gotten back to his house he saw that it was destroyed. (Thus was for somthing I was going to do in the story, but I failed to remember it.)

"Great." Sonic said

"Stupid robot."

Once Sonic made it to the top of the hill he spotted a purple flower on the top. He contacted Eggman on his communicator.

"Hey, Egghead, what does X look like?"

"It's a flower, and it's purple. Also, I wouldn't be insulting someone who is about to save your best buddy."

"Fine... Eggman." Sonic said, hanging up.

"I'm going to get my buddy back." Sonic said, plucking the flower.

...

"It's been almost TWO HOURS. What could he be doing?" Sonic asked Knuckles.

"Reserecting." Knuckles said.

At that moment, Eggman walked through the door and looked at both of them.

"He's okay, but I've got some bad news."

Sonic was eager to hear the bad news, but was also scared. Sonic walked in, seeing Tails, alive. His first reaction was to run up and hug him, wich he did, but that's when the bad news rolled in.

"Huh? Who are you?" Tails said, ignoring all of Sonic's 'Buddy! Are you okay?'s. Sonic looked confused.

"Well you see, he is going to have amnesia for today, but he should be back to normal tommorow." Eggman said.

Sonic looked down at Tails and then spoke in a soft, sad tone.

"He won't remember who I am?"

"Not for today. But he will tommorow."

Sonic looked Eggman in the eye.

"Eggman, thank you." Sonic said with tears of joy in his eyes.

"Don't mention it." Eggman said, looking out of the window.

"It's the least I could do after you destroyed that annoying robot."

Sonic laughed at his response.

ONE DAY LATER

"You feeling alright, pal?" Sonic said walking up to Tails.

"Yeah, just fine."

"Good. And, Tails? Why did you sacrifice yourself for me?" Sonic asked.

"Well, because I love you. Like a brother not..." Tails said, blushing. (I HAD TO PUT THAT IN THE STORY! JEEZE...)

Sonic hugged Tails.

"I know what you mean." He said, smiling.

Sonic looked kind of worried and then said: "hey, um... My house got destroyed so could I... Live with you?" He asked.

"Sure. It gets kind of lonely here. It's nice having someone to talk to."

"Wow! Thanks, buddy."

"No problem."

...

Sonic walked up to Eggman's fortress and knocked on the metal door.

"What?" He said, walking up to the door.

"Thanks for helping Tails." Sonic said.

"Thanks for destroying that robot." He said.

"But look out! I'm making a new robot! One that will destroy BOTH of you!" He said, closing the door.

'Riiiiiight' Sonic thought.

Sonic was sleeping next to Tails. He was very happy. He had a new home, and his best friend back.

All he ever needed.
