Always Watching

Chapter 7

Star POV

I woke up with sun beaming in my eyes I groaned and rolled over. The chills swooped over my skin. I felt around for the blanket. Once I felt it I wrapped my hand in it and attempted to pull it to me.

I got frustrated and finally opened my eyes looking at the culprit. Jason was wrapped in a little nest all by him self. I sat up and moved closer to him. I need warmth!

I wrapped my arms and legs around him and cuddled. I felt him start to shift and he rolled over. I kept my eyes closed to tired for this nonsense. Soon I was sucked into a warm blanket and Jason's arms were wrapped around me.

For some reason this felt better then anything I've ever felt before. I cuddled deeper into him and rubbed my hand up and down his back. A light moan escaped his lips when I touched the place the marking was. I raised my eyebrow and touched the area again only to have him clutch himself harder onto me.

I felt something start growing against my leg. Feathery kisses were also being placed onto my shoulder. My eyes widen in realization. I looked up at Justin who was looking down at me with purple eyes. My mouth gawked at the color. It was extremely beautiful.

I felt Jason's hand wrap around my leg and throw it over his waist.

"God I want you so bad right now." he whispered in my ear and started grinding himself against me.

Oh shit panic.

I pushed back on his chest and he let go.

"What are you doing?" I asked crossing my legs feeling slightly violated. Jason examined my body language and tears started to build up in his eyes. His vibrant purple eyes were now a dark blue.

"I'm so sorry I didn't mean too. My feelings got ahead of me. I don't know what came over I-I I'm just-" Justin couldn't finish his sentence because he was starting to choke up. My heart clenched at the sight and I didn't feel to good anymore.

"Jason. Please don't cry baby." I whispered in his ear. I straddled his lap and he placed his head in my chest as he continued to cry. I ran my hands through his hair as he clutched tighter.

"I love you so much. I didn't mean to make you feel uncomfortable." Jason said between light sobs.

"It's ok baby I know." I whispered.

"Are you hungry. I can make something." Jason looked up at me and to the side as if he was trying to decide wether or not he should tell me something.

"Do you need to tell me something Jase?" I questioned pulling back a little so that I could get a better look at his face.

"Um." he still looked indecisive. It was silent for a minute as he just scanned over my face with worried features.

"Star, baby, I got to tell you something. Please don't get mad. Just be open to how I can't control it." he said taking my hands into his with his eyes still teary.

"What is it?" I questioned.

"I don't really need to eat... food." Jason said rubbing his hand up and down my thigh.

I laughed and gave him a questionable look.

"blood. All I need is blood. I feed about 3 times every 3 months but I can live off once ever 3 months." Jason kissing my collar bone. I leaned back further surprised.

"What kind- Who's blood do you drink." I asked worried and not really sure how to word my sentence.

Jason took my hand in his and observed my face before answering.

"Mostly animals... I don't want to be a monster Star..." his voice cracked as he looked off to the side. My heart started to ache again.

"Awe baby boy, you are no monster." I said grabbing his face.

"Don't say anything that is not true! " Jason yelled. I was slightly shocked at his outburst.

"Jason-"I said before getting cut off.

"I AM A MONSTER! I AM A DEMON! I AM SOMETHING FROM THE DEEPEST PITS OF HELL! I AM SELFISH! YOU MAKE ME FEEL AND-AND .... and I dragged your innocent soul into a-all of th-this..." he broke down on the floor in tears and covered his head up with his hands as he sobbed.

I backed slightly away from him, my heart breaking at the sight.

"Jason,baby?" my breath got stuck in my throat when Jason's head snapped towards me and his whole eye was red, even the white. I watched his nails and teeth become longer and sharper.

"STOP!" Jason screamed and stood up and thrashed at his shirt. I slowely backed up into the corner when he started to approach closer to me.

"Jason hun-" I was cut off by a deep demonic scream. Tears pricked at my eyes and my heart raced harder and harder.

"STOP MAKING ME FEEL THIS! STOP NOW!" Jason yelled with the same demonic undertone as he now stood over me. Tears were now pooling out of my eyes.

Jason leaned down and wrapped his huge hands around my arms and lifted me in the sir.

"Jason please-" I was cut off from my sentence when he slammed my body into the wall. My head cracked against the wall and I felt a warm substance drip down the back of my neck. I started feeling dizzy as I looked down at an angry looking Jason. The back of my neck started to tingle when the blood started dripping over the mark.

I watched Jason shutter but this only caused his eyes to become a brighter red. Jason screamed in my face a ear wrenching sound before he threw my body across the room. My back hit the dresser and I felt a terrible pain shoot through my ribs.

Tears were now flowing from my eyes as Jason lifted me up by my shirt and wrapped his hand around my throat. I cawed at his hand as my air flow started to get cut off. He formed a fist with his other hand and decked me in my left eyes.

I couldn't breath and everything in my body was throbbing. I looked down at Jason and sot him a hateful look before the devil smile on his lips soon dropped. The red in his eyes dimmed and he pulled his hands away from me. I dropped to the floor and I gasped for air, feeling as if I was breathing through a tiny straw.

Jason backed away from me and covered his eyes with his hands. I watched his nails go back to their regular form. I watched him through hooded eyes lift his head and look at me with normal eyes, back to their honey eyes. I smiled happy that it was over. Jason looked up at me laying on the floor.

Suddenly everything around me started to spin and my vision formed black dots. Jason looked down at me in horror before he ran over to me and dropped to his knees.

"Star? Baby? Please! Answer me!" Jason panicked. I tried to open my mouth and answer but everything started to feel numb. I smiled once again that the pain was diminishing. Tears still fell through my lids.

"Star! BABY PLEASE! WHAT DID I DO TO YOU! WHAT DID I do..." a faint voice yelled before all sound was gone. I could feel darkness flow over me and I happily accepted it's presence.
