*4 years later*
Star POV
My alarm rang in my ear. I yawned and sat up in my bed looking around the room. I got out of the bed and walked out to the kitchen in my small apartment. I grabbed a glass and poured some water in it.
I scratched the back of my neck only to fell the bump of the scar on the back of my neck, where the tattoo like symbol use to be. I thought back to Jason.
Four years ago on that fatal day, after Jason fell to the ground I was able to find his phone in his pocket and I called the ambulance. A day later Jason was pronounced dead of a litteral rip in his heart and a collapse of his lungs. The rip was so bad that it would be compared to if someone picked up a knife and shoved it through your chest into your heart. The doctor were a little confused about his organs and immune system though. They never seen anything like his.
After that the symbol on the back of my neck began fading away. They planned a funeral a couple days later but his body suddenly disappeared. I was so distraught after that since Jason never got a proper barial. The police suspected that some sick buckos stole Jason's body for illegal testing. We never found him or any traces of the possible kidnappers.
Sadly my memories of him been fading and I cant pinpoint anymore what he exactly looked like.
The marking just started coming back a couple months ago.
I gulped down the glass of water and set it down in the sink I walked back to my room and to my closet. I picked out a flannel button up and tucked it into my light washed high waisted shorts. I walked towards the bathroom and put on some mascara and lip balm I grabbed my name tag the was on one of those long string necklaces and placed it around my neck.
I sprayed some mouse in my hair to tame my long curls. I sighed and slipped on my timberlands and grabbed my purse. I walked out the door locking it and jogged down the stairs. I decided to just walk to the music shop instead since it was a close walk.
I walked in and was greeted by Chad.
"Whats up Chad?" I said walking behind the counter.
"Nothing but deaing with a bunch of 13 year olds claiming they know 90s rap but never herd of Biggie Smalls." Chad said scrolling through his phone. I laughed and walked behind the counter and took a seat at the stool.
"I'm on break. Good luck fucker." he said before standing up and walking out the store. I laughed to myself at him.
xx
The day passed by slowely and I only have two hours till closing time. Chad's shift ended an hour ago and I had to close the store tonight so I was left by myself. The sun was still out but it would start setting in an hour. It was slow right now and no one was in the shop today.
I looked out the big glass wall that led to the entrence. I supported my hand in my head and watched people walk by, I was startled when the bell rang meaning someone entered. I looked up at the man.
"Hi welcome to Music Mania." I said with a smile attempting to hide how tired I actually was. The man looked at me and stopped in his footsteps. He stared at me through his extremely dark shades, but then just nodded and continued walking through the aisles.
He looked so familiar. I examined him. He wore black fitted jeans, a black t shirt, leather jacket and a gold chain around his neck. His hair was in a quiiff ontop of his head. Oh my god he looked familiar but where have I seen him?
Maybe if I get a closer look.
I stood up from my stool and walked up to him.
"Hi, my name is Star, I was wondering if there was anything you needed help with?" I asked looking up at him and analyzing his face. I honestly don't know. He looked down at me and stepped closer to me. He took of his glasses releasing his face to me. My breath caught in my throat, he was beautiful. Something in my mind is screaming at me that ive met him before, I just don't know when.
