The next morning came around and Issac was not looking forward to it....sure he made a friend and all....but he doesn't even know if she is faking it or not...
He swiftly got out of bed and begrudgingly went straight to the bathroom. Not seeing the Jack in the box that was now on the ground...
Isaac sighed after leaving the bathroom in fresh, new clothes. He was going to get his lunchbox, but something stopped him.
Why is the jack in the box on the ground....?
Isaac scoffed, mentally cursing at himself for being so paranoid.
'I probably knocked it over while tossing and turning in my sleep..I always knock something over when it's on the lamp table....' he told himself mentally. Trying to calm his nerves so he could start moving again.
Having a freeze reflex sucked....
"Hi!!" After hearing a loud greeting right by his ear he immediately jumped up in the air.
He peered behind him, heart pounding in his chest. Within his ten years of living this was probably the scariest moment he's ever dwelled.....
He saw.....a...rainbow clown...? Uhh did his mom drug him again?
"Am I high?" The clown tilted his head confused at the boys assumption. He didn't know what it meant up until he said it..? Wait....
"Your kinda young to be saying that aren't ya..?"
"Tell that to my mother..she says stuff like that all the time. Kinda hard to not pick up on it all when you live around it." Wait a sec....what is this conversation??? A clown is in his presence..at his HOUSE. In his Room!!
"What are you doing in my room?? In my HOUSE!" He couldn't help but raise his voice a bit. It's all he had..despite being younger, and shorter. Clearly the weaker unit. He still couldn't help, but try and seem like a challenge to hopefully get his mother out in time.
"Calm down!! I'm not here to hurt you...I'm here to be your friend!" What....the....heck...?
"What kind of bullshit is this??" The clown gasped dramatically at the young boy..'this kid obviously raised himself...the cussing, trying to act like the bigger person, and how mature he is just from this small interaction all ready...No! He's just shy!! He'll warm up in no time!' The clown was known for mood swings...because Issac was known for mood swings...this shall be interesting!
After their fun little chat, Isaac swiftly left his room to head to the kitchen to get his mom. If she sees him..maybe he isn't high or crazy...
"Mom! There's a clown who says he wants to be my friend!!"
His mom scoffed at him.
"Do you really think pretending you have a friend is gonna do you any good?? And also what did I say about, SHOUTING IN MY HOUSE!!!!" Issac flinched a tad due to her out-burst. He's use to shouting, but he doesn't exactly care for it..there are also days where he's more sensitive to it than normal. This causes either out-lashes, fighting, or him leaving the room to cry silently in his room.
"Mom...at least go check it out...I'm not crazy." The woman got up quickly due to an tantrum she was having, causing the chair to subdue an evil hiss sound.
Isaac cringed at the noise, subconsciously gripping the end of the fabric on his shirt. It was a comfort thing for Issac to squeeze the sleeves of his shirts.
They both entered his room only to find.............
........................................
.....Absolutely nothing......
Great.........
"What did I say about lying to me?" Her voice sounded almost sinister it wasn't pleasant hearing such vial sounding words coming out of her mouth..Issac almost shuddered at the thought of what she could possibly be planning.
Sometimes her punishments went too far...like for instants
"Mommy look what I got!" A young Isaac Grossman said while running up to his mom. While running however since he was too young to fully grasp the idea of stopping, or going slower before getting close to said destination.
He crashed into his mom, which may I remind you he's only six or seven so him running into his mom won't push her down at all!! After bumping into her he fell on his tail while she glared bullets into the poor young boy.
"How dare you!?" She screamed in his face then proceeded to hit the poor boy. He was only hit once, before she realized that they were in public. Then proceeded to pretend to care, and snuggle the confused kid. He had a black eye for awhile....
Another example would be..... a more recent one..actually this was right before they moved. He's nine
Isaac just got back from school. Exhausted, and stressed from an three exams all in one day. He had homework for other classes, but decided not to do them, because it would only lead to more stress. Witch he did not need
However later while laying in bed, his dear mother bursted into his room. Clearly pissed
"I got a call from your teacher saying you got a 87% on your math exam, a 97% on your science exam, and a 64% on your history exam. What's the meaning of that!?" Aren't those good scores mom...?
"Yeah..? What's the problem?" Issac was confused. He thought he did good on his exams, did he not?
"You need to get better grades that that! They have to be perfect!!" Upon saying this the woman screamed at him for awhile until she decided to punish him. She grabbed his hand pulled him mercilessly out of the house until she found a rather deep ditch. She pushed him down there and decided to keep him there all night. He in there for almost 18 hours.....
He shivered remembering all those unwanted, repressed memories from his head..the face she was making was never a good thing...and the fact that there not in public makes this even worse for him...
She raised her hand and forcibly slapped him as hard as she could.
A mark was all ready forming..all he saw for a few seconds was specks of white tainting his peripheral vision.
He stared down at the floor, while she stormed back into the kitchen. He felt like he wanted to cry, but he couldn't not here...he wouldn't allow himself to.
The clown reappeared with a saddened smile. The boy stared at the clown, then proceeded to scoff, and turn his head away, and crossing his arms.
The clown shakily went up to the boy bending down on his knees to communicate with the boy better.
"I'm sorry..I truly am...but I still wanna be your friend. I know that's what you truly want after all. That's why you were given the box in the first place!" The boy turned his attention to the clown, glaring at him. The clown awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck and faked up a laugh.
"There's nothing funny about this situation..I need to get to school..do whatever clowns do..and do me a favor and don't kill my mom." The boy sounded serious when it came down to his mother. Wanting to protect her even if she isn't the best...now that's loyal...the clown instantly respected this kid straight off the bat. He was fascinated with the tiny human creature, and wanted to learn more. Besides he'll learn when Isaac learns! So what better way to learn about humans, than to stalk one? It was full proof!
"Pleaseeeee~ can I gooooo!" The clown kept on moaning about being lonely while I'm gone...I can't believe I'm going to allow him to school...especially after this morning.
The boy and clown headed out the door. Not before Issac timidly muttered a 'I love you, bye' to his mom.
The clown was so exhilarated to see a bunch of tiny humans talking with each other, and working like adults do with jobs!
Upon arriving Issac hear an familiar voice shout his name.
