Chapter 31: Different and yet...

"So." Laughing Jack started.

"So..." You also pitched in.

Poor Isaac was frozen, he wasn't shaking or anything that indicated how he actually felt, but you knew it must have been really hard for him to be in the same room...

"hAHaHaahHA, Candy Pop looked highly amused earlier when he assigned Riku out of my room only to be replaced with YoU guys hehehe" The way Jack spoke was so different than from before, it was truly heartbreaking to see both of their mother friend so far gone...

"What's wrong with you...." You mumbled out to the best of your ability, your throat felt constricted, and tight. Isaac shot you a warning glare, it wasn't one out of anger, it was instead held with deep concern.

"What did you say??" The clown was confused now.

"What the fuck happened to you Jack!? Isaac didn't act like this before..! Even when he was insane!" In the heat of the moment you didn't even realize you just outed Isaac...oops

"ISAAC!!! YOU WEREN'T DEAD, HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE, YOU....no..this is good..! Now I can come up with an even cooler form of death for you! We can still play so many different games! This time...I won't go easy on you.." I think in that moment you, and Isaac both paled...

The moment Jack started taking steps towards Isaac, is when you snapped out of whatever trance you were in before, and ran towards him. Isaac tried to grab your hand once he realized what you were doing, but it was far too late to stop you at that point.

"You won't do shit to him...!!" You must have looked real stupid trying to defend a highly-trained serial killer from an powerful, magic-wielding clown...

"Oh, yeah? What are YOU gonna do about it, huh? Your just a stupid little girl..!" That's when he went to hit you, to get you forcefully out of the way, Isaac managed to start moving his body, and ran straight to you. He pulled you away from the clown's fist, you only feeling the wind from the impact.

"What the hell dude..! This is y/n!" The clown cocked his head to the side.

"Should I know that name?" You both froze again...how did he forget? Sure it's been a long time, but you don't just forget people you really cared about THAT easily..

"Jack...do you have memory issues? The fuck are you playing!" The clown glared at you spitefully.

"I think you should wash your disgusting mouth." The way he said this caused shivers down your spine. Isaac got defensive of you, and pulled you behind him.

"Aww~ trying to play the hero Isaac? Are you forgetting our last game before we lost touch completely? Or should I remind you." Isaac tensed, but remained his ground, only glaring at the clown in front of him.

"Stop talking shit about Isaac!" You and Isaac were both extremely defensive over the other, then again it's kinda hard not to when you have a crush on one another.

"Take off your dang mask!" You had nearly forgotten about it....

"Why should she!? Why should I!" This was getting really heated, if you didn't do something this argument would escalate into something much more...

"Stop it! Both of you!" Not the greatest tactic, but what else was there? They both turned to you in defeat.

"I don't know what's wrong with you Jack, but something definitely happened..magic wise or something...normal? I guess...there should be some reasoning logic behind it somewhere along the line, but..I think we should just not argue while we're here! This isn't the time, and place to fight." You didn't think that they'd both actually stop to listen to you..so you had no idea what else to say....
