3rd person POV:
four children were playing outside with a ball
"Emma!"
the (h/c) girl yelled as she kicked the ball and the orange haired girl followed it but instead rolled between her as the ball rolled over the hill
"oh no! the ball!"
Emma panicked as she followed the ball
"EMMA WAIT UP!"
the (h/c) girl yelled as she followed the tangerine, two other children saw them and then decided to follow them. then they stopped when Emma stopped running,she left the ball on the ground and went closer to the bars infront of them and put both of her hands on the bars
"what is this?"
the tangerine asked
"a gate. it connects the inside and outside."
the ravenette answered as the (h/c)nette nodded
"the outside, huh?"
said Emma
"we've never been outside."
Emma added as the (h/c) girl walked towards Emma
"we've been here all our lives, ever since we were born."
said the (h/c) girl as she bent down and grabbed the ball while the ravenette looked through the gate
"oh yeah, Mom always does say,"
the ravenette then looked at the tangerine
"Don't go near the gate or the fence in the back of the forest because it's dangerous."
The tangerine said as the ravenette looked through the gate again
"that's obviously a lie."
"you think?"
the tangerine asked as something came up in her mind as her other hand let go of the bar and looked at the ravenette
"Hey Ray!"
the three looked at the tangerine
"what would you do if you could go outside?"
she asked as Ray looked at the ground
"no idea. how about you, Emma?"
Ray said as he raised his head when he said the tangerine's name, Emma smiled
"I wanna ride a giraffe!"
Emma answered, Ray turned back at the gate
"goodluck with that."
said Ray
"you will ride on a giraffe someday, Emma!"
Emma nodded happily
"yeah i will,(y/n)!"
Emma said as (y/n) smiled at her. it was now silent as the white haired male looked at the gate and put his other hand on the bars holding it
"These bars..."
the white haired male said
"And this gate...what exactly are they protecting us from?"
he added now putting both of his hands on the bars as the four looked through the gate again as it was now silent
