"WHAT HAVE WE HEAR" SCREAMING/OR A RING

                                               —6 YEARS BEFORE ERIC FOUND THE RING—

Orlando Pov:

I see my father.... Lifeless on the ground bleeding as I held the knife I had just watched him die... I thought it would be satisfying but it wasn't even after all the horrible things he's done. I still regret my actions but I know it's the right thing to do I go to take his ring. It's been in our family for generations so I know what it's capable of. I put it on and felt like I was in a blazing inferno all around me. The red flames surrounded me in a flaming tornado but as I watched the flames turned blue 'strange this never happened with my father or grandfather. And the stories I heard always had red flames.' I thought. as the flames died down I looked at the ring it was blue instead of the original red ring.

I slowly got up and walked out on what used to be my house which is now a burnt down building scorched to the ground.

"Well what have we here." a voiced asked

I turned around and instinctively shot flames toward the voice. I looked and saw that it was a man holding his hand out holding the fire with black energy.

"Hmm interesting its blue fire i would have thought since it's blue it'll be hotter and stronger but its the opposite. How odd." he then tossed the fire away. I growled and shot even more flames at him. I see him just smile and hear him say one word. "Devour.". And I see dark energy come from him overwhelming my fire and then surround me and all I saw was darkness.

I woke up in bed and looked around. It seemed I was in a hospital bed

" I heard you fire ring users were hot headed. I just wasn't expecting that hot headed." I turned around and saw the man before.

"Who are you?" I asked

"Glad we're finally talking. My name is Garrett and I'm here to recruit people to help our world our and protect people and i want to train other ring users to help harness their power for the greater good. So will you help me protect and train others like us?" he asked sincerely.

"I'm in." I said instantly. And he smiles

"Then let's begin."
