This takes place after Two Brains Forgets 🧠

Brushing her teeth, Becky Botsford looks at herself in the mirror. Thinking to herself before sighing, soon spitting into the sink and gargling some water. Her mind was replaying the whole incident of what happened at dinner. Dr. Two Brains coming over, trying to prove that she was Wordgirl to her family, achieving at it too. Even if it was momentarily.

She couldn't help but reflect on her parents' and brother's reaction to her identity. How her brother had this slight disappointment in his tone. Upset that she was who he looked up to. How worried her mother acted when she was battling her arch nemesis. How her dad was proud of her being a superhero but she couldn't help but think that if he did remember her being Wordgirl, he'd possibly would unintentionally call her his daughter while she was fighting crime.

Putting her toothbrush away, Becky exits the bathroom as she turns off the lights. Glad that everyone was zapped with the Ray. Forgetting her hero side. She blinks, another memory of what happened earlier surfacing through her head.

Dr. Two Brains being zapped, forgetting her identity, even who he was. She pauses for a moment, wondering... if there was a chance. Perhaps of her bringing out Dr. Steven Boxleitner... her old friend. Someone who taught her how to be a hero, someone she looked up to.
Swallowing hard, she enters her room and closes the door. Seeing her friend, Bob, aka captain huggy face asleep on her bed, an idea forms in her head. Becky carefully puts some blankets over his sleeping figure. Trying to not wake him up.

After making it seem like Bob was her, asleep and tucked in bed Becky heads to her window. Opening it up. She glances at her friend. Feeling like she should bring him along yet had a feeling that if Dr. Two Brains still couldn't remember his identity he might be harmless. Taking another deep breath before exhaling, she whispers "word up".

Soon her tiny form shoots up fast, flying over the city to where Dr. Two Brains' lair is. A mixture of emotions boiled in her. Fear of going alone without her trusted companion, pessimism of her plan not working, and the small childish hope of hers. That maybe, her old friend is still in that villain.
Once making it to the place, she peers into the windows. Trying to see if her foe was asleep or still awake. Luckily... the older man was awake.

Dr. Two Brains was walking around, looking at the assortment of machinery he had made or perhaps have bought. Still under the influence of his mind erasing ray.
"What interesting gadgets these are, " he says to himself before raising a brow at one. "Though.... why is one shaped like a giant ear? Did I build that one?? I wonder what it was used for"
Becky Botsford watches him for a moment before summoning up the courage to head inside. Though, instead barging in, she enters through the slightly opened garage door. Floating down, she walks off the step and inside.

"Um... hello? Dr. Two- Dr. Boxleitner ," Worgirl asks, calling out to him by his old name, in hopes it could cause him to remember who he was.
Hearing the name being called out, the scientists makes his way to where Wordgirl is. Wondering if that was his name. He blinks, tilting his head. "Oh, its you again, " he says

Wordgirl chuckles, rubbing the back of her head. "Yeah it's me, Wordgirl. You know, protector of Fair City, the number one hero of the city. Well the only one."
Dr. Two Brains chuckles softly and nods. "I see...., " he says as he thinks about what Wordgirl just called him. That name, it certainly does sound familiar. Was he a doctor? Maybe a scientist most likely based on the inventions, well cheesy inventions. "And superhero? Wow, must be a big job for you"
