"Get back here ya thief!" hollered an angry Viking.
She barely knew that many Vikings had told rumors based off of the Dragon Thief: both good and bad. Some say she was brought down by Freya and others say she's brought down by Loki. One will think she's a blessing and others, a curse. She had managed to outwit the Dragon Hunters over a dozen times and had finally managed to remind them to cross her path or there'll be a nasty joke on them. Some had even said that she must be descended by the goddess of Freya herself. She is elusive and cunning, beautiful and independent, brave and strong, wise and mysterious. The girl is almost impossible to find. But if one makes their intentions clear indirectly, they'll might meet the young Dragon Thief.
The teenage girl named Dawn came to a silent stop and jumped into a secluded cave, panting as she catch her breath. She crouched down in the shadows of a small cave as the idiot numbskulls thundered past her. She sighed in relief and finished eating her bread.
She has long, wavy sandy-blonde hair that's in a high ponytail, while her eyes is in the same shade as the sea and her skin is both fair and lightly tanned from her time in the sun. She was wearing a blue sleeveless vest on top of a long-sleeved tan tunic and a pair of dark brown pants. She has dark brown arm bracers and boots. She was also wearing a necklace with the pendant of a trio of silver Skrills, and a blue scarf around her neck that covers her necklace. Pierced on her right ear is a pair of dragon scaled earrings: the smaller one is golden, while the bigger one is blue.
She gathered as much supplies as she can: bags of Hideous Zippleback gas, bags of Orange Oleander (non-threatening to dragons, but can make people woozy), a bag full of Deadly Nadder spines, and a few bottles of Speed Stinger paralyzing poisons. Dawn knew she had to rescue these dragons, they don't deserve to be stuck in cages and sold off to controlling owners to have their spirits broken.
"Okay." Dawn took a deep breath and had climbed up a shadowy hill that was close to the Dragon Hunters' camp. She could see a good number of caged dragons, who were calling out for her.
"Alpha!" called out a Gronckle.
"Save us our Queen!" a Hideous Zippleback hollered.
"Deliver us!" roared a Deadly Nadder.
"Get us out of here!" a Speed Stinger screeched.
"Save us Your Majesty!" roared a Monstrous Nightmare.
Once all of the Dragon Hunters had left the island for some reason, Dawn and her family of Dramillions had secretly surrounded the camp, ready to fly and fight. Dawn had put up all of her hunting traps to fight against the Dragon Hunters before she approached she used the Deadly Nadder's spines to jam the locks and freeing the wild dragons.
"Thank you Your Majesty!" Many dragons had cried out in gratitude as they ran past Dawn and escaped the island. "You've saved us all!" "We are indebt to you my Queen!" "You are great as the Dragon Riders!" "I guess not all humans are bad. Thank you my Queen." The last comment had came from a wary Lighy Fury before she had flew off into the clouds and disappeared.
Dawn soon heard loud banging and clanging from the last cage, she was surprised to see a full-grown Rumblehorn hitting against the cage extremely hard. He has deep emerald green and pale orange scales, which is a contrast to his red face and light belly. What was more surprising to Dawn was that the male Rumblehorn was wearing a tan and brown elegant chair-like saddle on his back, meaning he belongs to a Dragon Rider.
"Get me out of here!" roared the male Rumblehorn. "I need to go back to my rider!"
"And you will," Dawn whispered as she jamed the lock and set the Rumblehorn free.
The Rumblehorn bowed to Dawn and said, "Thank you Your Majesty. I shall mention you to my kings to express my gratitude to you."
"Thank you my friend," said Dawn with a small smile. "But just focus on going home."
Skullcrusher nodded as he unfolded his wings and flew away into the clouds. Dawn smirked slightly and ran towards her Dramillion family, they have been reunited with their pack members and had set the Dragon Hunters' camp and supplies up in flames. They had all went back into the depths of the forest and Dawn pushed through some bushes, she smiled at the familiar sight of her home. She only remembered that she was brought here to be raised by the dragons to understand their side of the story and be one of the rare human Alphas that Dawn has been blessed by the Berserker Bewilderbeast as well as living amongst the dragons.
In front of Dawn was a grassy field, and a lot of Dramillion dragons. They were of all ages, from adult to hatchling, and of four tiers of colors. Dark blue with red, bright red with blue, yellow with purple, and purple with yellow. They were doing an assortment of things. Many adult males and females were bathing in a shallow hot spring not too far from the rest of the pack, some were just sunbathing in the field. Some teenagers and hatchlings were chasing each other and playing wrestle. Some mothers were feeding their babies with twigs carrying a large number of berries.
It was calm and peaceful that Dawn enjoys compared to a Viking's life. It carries the rare tranquillity of the place, before following Dawn and staying close. Everything was somewhat quiet, save for the chatter and calls of the Dramillions surrounding them. Dawn remembered being raised here alongside her siblings.
"Hey Dawn," purred a new voice.
The voice came from a male Monstrous Nightmare with blue scales mixed with red-yellow-green-blue and gleaming yellows eyes named Blaze. Next to him was a indigo-colored female Deadly Nadder with flashy amber eyes named Slingshot.
Then there was a mighty roar, and a thud of steps and Dawn turned around to see... nothing.
Dawn chuckled when she spotted a shimmer, before the 'shimmer' started to take color. Before long, the culprit is revealed.
A Titan Wing Dramillion.
It looked identical to any other Dramillion in the clearing, dark blue with red spots and stripes, save for the obvious size advantage and the lighter blue scars littering his body. He held an air of dominance. It was clear, this was the Alpha of the Dramillion pack.
As Titan approached Dawn carefully to check on her, everybody had fell silent throughout the clearing as they watched the Alpha of the Pack greet Dawn. After Titan sniffed her a few more times, he lets out a grumpy, dismissive snort towards her, and then turned around and left, looking as regal as he entered.
Dawn had let out an amused sigh and the pack had went back to what they were doing.
She rolled her eyes fondly and was gently fussed over by a motherly purple and yellow-spotted Dramillion named Grizabella. She smiled at Grizabella as she led her to a nearby cave, she picked up a leafless stick and Grizabella lit it up. The cave was an ancient and gorgeous work of art. There was many carvings and paintings on the cave walls from the elders. On the ground was many pieces of humankind artwork: jugs, jewelry, weapons, cloths, and much more as great gifts from the warriors of the past. As Dawn went deeper into the cave, there was towering stone pillars entwined with more carved dragons rose to support a ceiling lost in darkness, casting long shadows through the unique, blueish gloom that filled the place.
Dawn walked calmly on between the dragon columns, her eyes aglow. Every graceful paw step barely made an echo off the shadowy cave walls. She kept her eyes sharp and alert for any sudden movements. The eyes of the stone dragons seemed to be following her.
She gained a closer look at the pictures that have been painted on the walls over a hundred years ago. The paintings almost seemed to come to life in the firelight. Dawn thought she could almost the roars and cooes of the dragons and the shouting of humans. Dawn's eyes were soon drawn to a girl astride on a flying golden Sand Wraith with a sword alit with bright sunlight and were flying in front of a rising sun. She could almost hear the battle cry from the rider and the loud, echoing shrieking roar from the dragon.
She had stepped towards her sleeping spot, which has a blanket and a pillow on a low ledge in the cave. There's also some baskets of food she had gathered from earlier. She had placed her sword, knives, bow and arrows a little away from the entrance and by the cave walls. She had also placed a small fireplace to keep warm as well as a stack of books, scrolls, and herbs.
Dawn yawned and fell asleep in her sleeping corner, unaware of what will happen by the next day.

Dawn was dreamt that she was in a beautiful beach that seems awfully familiar to her. The ocean was in the rich shade of sapphire blue. The night sky was clear from any sign of dark clouds and is shimmering deep blue. The moon shone like a clear puddle of white and the stars glittered like scattered raindrops in the night sky.
She looked around, but she jumped in surprise when she heard a loud roar behind her. Dawn spun around and saw a Skrill fly out of a mountain with a person on its back. The Skrill had disappeared into the thunderclouds.
