The Forgotten Goddess

The gods of old were discussing how to continue their reign over mankind. Then a new goddess was forged stronger than the rest and capable of changing the course of the world. With the birth of a new goddess a war had broken out over how to best use her power to benefit the mortals or themselves. The new goddess was not named in the heavens but she was sent to the mortal world to gain what none of the gods and goddess had before.
The unnamed goddess was raised to believe her name was alma. She grew up with no knowledge of her godhood or what potential she had stored within her. As she grew older she realized that she never quite fit in with the rest of the people in town. This didn't bother her because there was one man who didn't care how odd she was, he was enamored by her. His name was Pedro Madrigal and they met at the age of 25. A few months later the triplets were born. This was the start of a new generation of gods and godesses that will control the world. A few moments after the triplets invaders came to burn down the town. This caused the townsfolk to run away with pedro, alma, and the triplets to follow behind them. But the invaders were relentless in their pursuit to kill all of them. Seeing that alma and the triplets were falling behind pedro decided that he was going to give them some extra time to run. " Keep going I'm going to buy you some more time, keep the kids safe." Pedro said to alma while walking toward the attackers. After a few steps he raised his hands to plead with them, only to get a sword to the neck or so it seemed, in an instant he and the townspeople were in a brand new town surrounded by mountains. Pedro felt bandages around his neck and saw that his wife and kids were no were to be seen. In a panic he searched all around the new town he and the rest found themselves in. After a few days of unrest and searching he went to the house he was placed in front of and saw a note from alma. (Dear pedro, I'm sorry for not being with you when time moved again, the children are safe and will return to earth after they understand what powers they hold as gods. I am the last of the old gods and apologize for not telling you, but in truth I didn't know I was sent to earth before I was a fully conscious godess and had no recollection or knowledge that I was a god to begin with. I don't know if I will be able to return to the mortal world any time soon but I will be there as soon as possible. Love alma the mortal / amla the godess of creation.) With this new knowledge pedro just had to wait for their return.
