Before I went to pick up Calvin, I stopped by the coffee shop to buy us some coffee and glazed donuts. Cal and I love donuts! Also as a thank you for taking care of me yesterday.

I parked in front of his apartment building. I waited for about five minutes until he came out and got in the car.

Alyssa : Hey Cal! I got you a coffee and glazed donut.
Calvin : Thanks!
Alyssa : That's for putting up with my drunk ass yesterday.
Calvin : -laugh- I got you.
Alyssa : I'm so tired.
Calvin : Still?
Alyssa : I stayed up late doing my work. Then again it's my own fault for getting all drunk.
Calvin : Yeah save that for the weekends.
Alyssa : So when's the date?
Calvin : What date?
Alyssa : You and Eva? For the risotto.
Calvin : Oh.....I don't know.
Alyssa : -laugh- You're gonna keep her waiting.
Calvin : I mean I do feel bad.
Alyssa : She likes you.
Calvin : You think?
Alyssa : it's so obvious.
Calvin : She's sweet but I don't feel anything towards her. Not in that way.
Alyssa : Who do you like?
Calvin : Can't say...
Alyssa : it's not Melanie is it?
Calvin : No not anymore.
Alyssa : Then?
Calvin : Someone who doesn't see it.
Alyssa : Tell her.
Calvin : Knowing her she'll push me away and I don't want that.
Alyssa : So you're waiting for her to make the first move?
Calvin : Not exactly but to give me a sign that she feels something.
Alyssa : Some girls hide their feelings well.
Calvin : That's true.
Alyssa : But I mean Eva seems nice.
Calvin : She is..
Alyssa : Well, here you are.
Calvin : Thanks Alyssa...

We both smiled at each other for a bit. Then he got out of my car and walked in. He bumped into Eva on his way...

I guess it's clear he doesn't like Eva that way but now I'm curious. Who's the other chick? Imma have to do my research.

Eva : I see you stayed the night with Alyssa.
Calvin : No she actually went back to her apartment to work and she just picked me up this morning.
Eva : Oh I see. I thought you guys were dating or something.
Calvin : Nah we're just friends and Alyssa doesn't date.
Eva : I guess but anyone would assume you two are something.
Calvin : Why's that?
Eva : The chemistry between you two is so obvious. You guys know each other pretty damn well. Didn't you see how jealous she was during lunch?
Calvin : She was not.
Eva : Think about it. She started drinking once we started flirting. She was jealous.
Calvin : Alyssa is like that. She likes the alcohol.
Eva : I don't know but anyway let's get to work.
Calvin : Yeah...

Alyssa is very good at hiding her emotions. I really doubt she was jealous of Eva. She doesn't see me that way anyway...

She got here before I did.

Alyssa : Sorry! Traffic!
Melanie : it's okay I got here only five minutes ago.
Alyssa : I'm so thirsty! It's hot!
Melanie : Fall is just around the corner don't worry.
Alyssa : I know I can't wait!
Melanie : Hey I asked Blake about that bet you guys made last year.
Alyssa : I can't wait to get my car!
Melanie : -laugh- a lot of things can happen between now and December.
Alyssa : Except me getting married so he should've given up months ago.
Melanie : Are you sure?
Alyssa : I don't have a boyfriend Mel.
Melanie : Because you don't want to. Calvin has been knocking the door for months now!
Alyssa : Eva can have him. They were flirting none-stop yesterday.
Melanie : About that, why did you get drunk? You rarely get drunk during the day.
Alyssa : Because I was annoyed! I hate couples being all clingy it's disgusting!
Melanie : Is it that or because it was another girl next to Calvin?
Alyssa : I don't know what you mean.
Melanie : I think you do.
Alyssa : No I don't!
Melanie : Why don't you just get with him? Deep down you have feelings for him too.
Alyssa : He doesn't have feelings for me.
Melanie : Trust me he does.
Alyssa : I don't believe it.
Melanie : You don't want to believe it because deep down you feel the same and you're scared...
Alyssa : You know exactly why I'm scared to date again.
