"Do you wanna be friends?" I hope he says yes. "Uh yeah sure!" He says excitedly. "But...why? I mean you don't even know me." He sounded so sad. From what I heard he's never had real friends before and they were all not good at all.
"Idk you seem cool" he grinned a bit. "Well ok then". We rode on the bus for a few more minutes until we arrived at the school. In those few minutes, me and him just talked about random shit and stuff that high schoolers talk about.
We actually had a lot in common, such as anime, video games like Minecraft and valorant, we watched the same tv shows and YouTubers, and other stuff. Whenever he talked he just sounded so interesting and he was definitely very enthusiastic while talking about his interests.
We finally arrive at the school and get off the bus. He gets off first but as I'm getting off the bus, I fall and land right on top of Alex. Holy shit this was so embarrassing. And a whole bunch of the homophobics were laughing at us and saying "oh that's gay" or "oh that's sus"
I panic and quickly get off of him and apologize
"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I didn't mean to I swear" he was very flustered and I could tell he was red. "It's alright karl it was accident". I felt so bad because he already has to deal with all the other kids calling him names now it just adds one more to the list.
