Darkness in a heart (Winx fanfic part 2)

Chapter 1

Bloom opened her eyes from sleep as those words rang in her head. They'd been put in her head the day she sent the Trix to the mirrors, when she revoked their powers but hadn't managed to take it all. She got lost in her thoughts. Bloom looked at her alarm clocked. 2 in the morning. Why am I awake? She thought.

"Mommyyyyyy!!!!" Oh, that's why I'm awake.

Sky woke up from his daughter and son's screams for them. He looked at his wife and noticed she was awake without her noticing him.

"You heard them, Mommy." She jumped in surprise and laughed. They kissed a long kiss but was quickly interrupted.

"Daddyyyyyyy!!!!" Called their children once again.

"Oh, but Daddy, you need to come too!" Bloom shot back at him. They laughed and had a quick peck on the lips before getting up to go to the twins' room. They went in to see both twins awake and crying. Sky grabbed Aiden and Bloom grabbed Angelique. She shushed and tried to calm them down.

"What's wrong?" She asked her 3 year old daughter.

"Mommy, I'm scared!"

"Why?"

"Because it's dark!"

"But there's nothing to be afraid of, sweetie."

"Yes there is! You told me that darkness is bad!"

"Oh, Angel, that's not what I meant! Aid, did you also think that's what I meant?"

He nodded his head yes. "Guys, everything is okay. Please go to sleep." They did this all the time.

"Um, Daddy?" Aiden spoke up.

"Yes, Aid?" Sky responded.

"Can we- can we sleep with you?"

Sky looked at Bloom as they did many times before. The twins always did this to them.

"Alright..." Bloom answered. They took the twins into Bloom and Sky's room where they would stay until they fell asleep.

As they laid into bed, Sky whispered in Bloom's ear. "Bloom, I love you, but I'm really getting tired of this. With them here, we can't get close." She knew what he meant by that."

She chuckled. "What?" She whispered back. "Are you trying to have another?"

"Maybe..."

"No thank you. Sky, don't even try it. You know I haven't been using the pill, but that doesn't mean you can stop using condoms."

He grinned deviously, and Bloom hit him hardly.

"If it happens, its your fault!"

"It'll be a one of the best 'mistakes' that I make."

"Oh, really? And which is your best?"

"You."

She smiled and stood quiet for a while. She then spoke softly.

"Sky......?"

"Yes, Bloom?"

"Do you really want to-?"

"I'm not sure... I mean, if you want to, then...maybe?"

"I think, it would be best, if we wait till later, perhaps?"

"Perhaps..." he repeated.

Minutes passed by, and the twins fell asleep. Bloom drifted off to sleep, and Sky followed. She later woke up at dark. She began to tap her husband.

"Sky...Sky, honey get up..."

"I'll finishes my royal duties later. Can't a king just get a day off?"

Bloom laughed. "A King can, but a Father can't."

Sky turned around and realized it was Bloom trying to wake him up, not one of his servants. "Hey, Bloom... what happened?"

"The kids fell asleep. We can take them to their room now."

He grinned and picked up one while Bloom got the other. They placed them in their beds.

"I'm awake now, I don't think I'll be getting back to sleep."

"Then let's watch the sunrise." Sky suggested.

The couple walked together, hand in hand to the royal garden. They sat on the edge of the fountain in their royal garden and gave one another a deep, long, juicy kiss, as the sun had risen. The kiss lasted long, until Angelique and her twin brother Aiden interrupted.

"Mommy! Daddy! Are you- ewww! Aiden look!" She grabbed her brother and showed him to what their parents were doing.

"Bleh! Mommy's giving Daddy cooties!"

They quickly stopped and looked at their children. Bloom quickly ran to them.

"Angelique, sweetie, what did you see?"

"You were kissing Daddy!!"

"But that's what people do when they like each other." Sky replied.

"Really?" Aiden asked.

"Yes, really, when you get a girlfriend, or you, Angel, when you get a boyfriend."

"Ohhh..." They said in unison.

Bloom hit Sky. "Sky! Don't incourage them!"

"What? It's fine!"

Bloom almost shot a fireball at him, but she kept it in her hand.

"Hey, Mommy! When do I get MY powers?" Angelique asked.

"When you're old enough."

"Am I old enough when I get a boyfriend?"

Bloom gave her husband a stern look and he gave her a guilty smile. Luckily, their children changed the subject.

"Daddy! Daddy! When are we going to the park to see my friends?" Questioned Angelique.

"Soon. Now, come on, let's go get ready." He picked up his daughter and son.

"Weeeeeee!" They screamed.

Bloom smiled as Sky zoomed them in the air to get changed. But her smile quickly turned into a frown when she sat down in pain from her stomach. That time of month, she thought. She rested her eyes for a second until a maid interrupted.

"Your majesty?" The maid curtsied.

Bloom looked up. "Yes?"

"The King demand you help him with the Prince and Princess immediately and get ready yourself."

"Thank you." She smiled at her servant. She walked into the castle and roamed the halls, into the twin's room.

"Where were you?" Sky asked.

She ignored his question. "So, you "demand" me?" She laughed as if it were a joke and he smirked.

"Yes, I "demand" you, because if I didn't, I wouldn't have gotten to see that pretty little face of yours mad. Now, could you help me out? Angelique refuses to wear her hat and you, I'm pretty sure, shouldn't go to the park in your Pj's."

She attempted to put the hat on her daughter but she refused. "NO! I don't want to wear the hat!"

"That's on you, but don't complain when the sun's in your eyes. Here, at least wear this." She put a pair of Angelique's tiny sunglasses on her face.

"Yay!"

Bloom got up to get dressed in her room. She simply wore a pair of skinny jeans and a pink t-shirt with blue designs on it. She was going to wear a crop top, since it was summer, but she looked and felt bloated. She exited her room and met up with Sky in the hallways, who passed her Aiden while he held the fussy Angelique. They left the castle and got ready to leave for Gardenia Park.
