I panicked when i realised she wasnt responding, was she coming to kill me? "MILES!" I screamed " MADDYS GONNA FUCKING KILL ME! " i yelled watching as miles bursted through the door, laughing as one of the staff yelled at us for 'innapropriate use of language'

"whats the tea sis?" Miles said, immitating one of my girl friends. I just rolled my eyes but panic started to flood me when maddys face surfaced my phone.

As i rushed to press accept a calm maddy came up on my phone, "im not mad at you." She spoke softly, "it wasnt your fault.. I think he did that because hes like gay but in denial?" She started while me and miles just sat in silence shocked at the whole thing. Apparently Nate has alot of dick pics on his phone and a cd of his dad fucking jules. this was alot to take in at once but the minute me and maddy ended the call miles bursted out laughing making me laugh too, "no fucking way!"

-the next day

I hadnt talked to rue all day, i just played it of saying i was getting ready for the party.

"Your not going in that." Miles said as he watched me check myself out in the mirror

"Why not?" I pouted

"half your ass is hanging out!" He shreiked

"im trying to get a boyfriend tonight" i shrugged

"I dont think thats how you get a boyfriend...a decent one atleast."

I just brushed him of, wanting to change the subject, "lets take pictures!" I smiled, dragging him outside.

As me and Miles walked through the front door I was greeted by a humid atmosphere and the smell of straight alcohol. "No drugs tonight, all right J?" Miles said looking down at me, "I dont plan on doing them. Ever." I said sternly as we weaved our way through the crowd trying to get outside. As we got outside we found a table of drinks where I just took straight shots,Miles looking at me disapprovingly, "What?" I smiled innocently before downing yet another, waiting for the drunk part to hit me. After a few shots I had gotten noticably drunk and I looked around to find ash sitting by the poolside, "Lets go say hi to ash!" I giggled as I pulled miles's hand torwards where he was sitting.

"hey ash!" I grinned as Miles sat down, not moving as I sat ontop of him.

"Wassup ma" he said, not even looking up. He was counting cash with a rolled up blunt inbetween his lips. We had been talking for a few minutes until some blonde girl came over and handed ash a drink.

"Here you go baby" She smiled as she handed hm a drink, showing of her pearly whites. He nodded his thanks before taking a sip. "Bae what did I tell you about being friends with girls...especially girls like her." She said, whispering the last bit, although I still heard.

"nah Julys cool babe, let her be." She gave him a small glare

"I never knew you had a girlfriend.." I said looking at the pair, trying to break the tension

"oh we're just started dating, im just trying to take things slow yknow? I dont want to rush into a relationship just yet." she nodded, "but clearly you..wouldnt agree" she made a snarky comment, signalling between me and miles.

"Oh no we're not dating.." I laughed, "So whats your name?

"Alice King. What about you?" Alice said, flipping her bleached hair over her shoulder

"Uh July.." I smiled, she was pretty, i could see why ash liked her. But deep down i knew I wished he liked me instead.

"omg that name is so like...different! Wait so like what month were you born in? July?" Mean girl vibes.

"uh yeah july 27th" i nodded before getting up, "im gonna go get another drink..ill see you around ash, nice meeting you alice." I walked off, but as I left I could hear alice talking about how 'unattractive' it is when girls drink and how she doesnt drink. What a loser.
