Today was the worst day ever! First Katie woke up too late for work, then Honey found Maddy made an accident. Jack had to clean it up and it smelled bad!
Katie walked home today. It was so nice! But something really bad had happened!
"Jack, we need to talk" Katie did not say it with a smile.
"What's wrong, dear?"
"You know our neighbor, Mr.Riley? He was the one doing all the crimes! He went to jail today" Katie said. Honey and Maddy sat and watched.
"Oh no! That's good and bad at the same time!" Jack said.
"I just feel so bad, all I saw was him with a knife and... He just was so nice before..." Katie started to cry. Jack hugged Katie and comforted her. Five years ago Mr.Riley's wife-Carrie- passed away. They had a special bond and he kind of went crazy.
Honey wasn't alive when it happened but she still feels bad.
