High School Musical: The Musical: The Series picks up nearly 15 years after the original movie aired, at the real-life location where it all began: East High. It follows a group of students as they count down to opening night of their school's first-ever production of "High School Musical." Show-mances blossom; friendships are tested while new ones are made; rivalries flare; and lives are changed forever as these young people discover the transformative power that only a high school drama club can provide.
The cast now has 5 new series regulars joining the cast which includes (from left to right), Angelina Reed (Knight Squad), Mabel Lavado (Orange Is the New Black), newcomer August Gomez, Alana Park (Grey's Anatomy), and Mahogany Brown (The Vampire Diaries).
Gomez is Shiloh Molina, a sweet, loveable teen who's the leader and creator of the East High Love Club.
Lavado is Evie Fernandez, a headstrong teen who's the co-creator of the East High Love Club.
Reed is Jenna Russet, a preppy, joyous teen who teaches people how to better love their friends in the Love Club.
Park plays Ashley Yang, a shy and timid teen who teaches people how to better love themselves.

What is the Love Club? It's a group of five teenagers who help the East High students with their love problems (platonic and romantic).
