THE FEELING of freedom felt... free. As silly as it sounds.
To have a open relationship after almost of year of dating felt so freeing for August. She could praise, be affectionate, do whatever she wanted (let's limit that) with Josh and God it felt good.
She knew the wave of hate or criticism she would receive for dating her costar (which was a no no in Hollywood for some reason) but the amount of love and support she got was unreal.
She often found herself liking edits and such of her and Josh and how they would sometimes compare their relationship with Shiloh and Ricky. It was sweet really.
But for now, she had been stuck in L.A. while Angelina had been off filming a new movie and Jacob with Cobra Kai.
Olivia? Well, she was a global superstar now. She was either in the studio or out playing shows.
So, where was Josh?
Josh was in New York. He left a couple of weeks ago to get things ready for what August hoped was an album.
He had a New York apartment and had invited August to tag along, she would even get snippets of what was to come from him.
But she couldn't. Her album would be dropping soon and she had to stay in L.A. for everything to go down.
It looked like August would be celebrating the release of her album alone, but she didn't mind. Everyone around her were doing amazing things and though she could feel their presence, she knew that they all cared and it wouldn't matter if the media would see it or not. If she was able to even get a simple congratulations she'd be pleased.
She sat in her shared L.A. apartment (one with Angelina and Alana) alone and in her kitchen. She had her laptop opened and watched random videos that had popped up on her timeline every now and then.
The videos had been cut short when she received a FaceTime call from Josh.
She answered with a smile and waited for the call to connect and soon enough his popped up on her screen.
