It was 5:02 when we were done talking. Me and C.C. went inside our house.

Where's father?

I searched the house but I couldn't find him. I checked C.C. to see if he was alright. He was watching TV so I thought I might as well check the basement.
I quietly stepped on the creaky stairs, trying so hard not to make any sound. I peeked behind the railings to see what the man was doing.

He was making a pretty woman; she had blue hair in a bun and had ballerina clothing. Will had only done the top part. I then caught a glimpse of his face.

Jeez, that man looks like he hasn't slept in weeks! Is he ok?
I directed my attention back to the robot.
"She looks so pretty.." I whispered.
"AUGH F*CK!" screamed my father. Turns out he cut himself with the metal on the robot.
I hid behind the railing even more. He mumbled something I couldn't hear and I booked it back up the stairs, trying not to step on the creaky steps.

I rushed into the living room, dying to tell my brother what I saw. Then as soon as I step into the living room, I hear
"Don't~" the voice whispered. It was a voice I remembered clearly, too clearly..
I turned around to see who whispered that. No one was there. I turned back around to walk into the living to tell my brother what I saw.
"Hey bro, I-" I froze in horror.

C.C. was still sitting on the couch but he looked different..
My brother was there, bleeding from his head. His eyes were rolled back, showing the white part of his eyes. He had a bandage wrapped around his head, trying to cover the hole in his brain. There was blood on shirt and shorts; it seemed as if he was crying for hours.. He reeked of rotten flesh, like he's been buried for days.
"C-C.C.?" Tears escaped from my eyes from the smell of the body and sadness.

"AH!.." I sat up from my bed, draping in sweat.
"*sighs* It was a dream.." I plopped my back on the bed. But something told me it wasn't a dream..
I got off my bed and walked out of my room. I looked over the railing of the stairs and saw C.C. on the couch, sleeping.

"Thank the lord," I sigh.

I walk the rest of the way, down the stairs. I then dash toward the threshold of the basement, passing C.C.
I cunningly and carefully step on the stairs. Treading down the steps to see what my father has built so far.
I look to the right and see the dazzling ballerina, standing on her toes.
I approached the robot carefully.
"Woah, this material is so smooth.." I drag my hand across the robot's arm.
"Michael..!" yelled William. He looked so.. tired. Mentally and physically.
I yank my hand off the robot's arm. He was leaning on the stairs rail when I turned around.
"Y-yes father?" I hesitated.
"What are you doing down here? In my office..?" He was starting to make me regret everything I've ever done.

"Oh! Uhm.." I tried to search for an answer.
"Michael, you know I don't like silence for an answer.." He started to walk over.
"I.. *sigh* I didn't mean to come down here-" *Slap*
I found myself rubbing my cheek, wincing in pain.
"Now, let this be a lesson to never come down here without my permission. Got it..?!"
"Yes father.." I sniffled.
"Go to your room. I have some unfinished business to take care of.."
Tch, that boy..
I ran up the stairs and passed the couch with C.C. now awake.
"Mike? Are you ok-"
"NOT RIGHT NOW!" I yelled, with my voice slowly breaking down.
I ran up the stairs into my room and cried into my pillow.
"I knew it.. He doesn't want me.." I burst into tears.
"One more day until the party.."
