It was 8:23 A.M. when I woke up.

*groan* How long did I sleep for?..

I checked the clock. Wow, I slept for that long? Surprising..

I got up and brushed my teeth.

"Ouch, that slap took a toll on me huh.."

I changed out of my clothes and put on some pajamas. As I was picking out my outfit for today, something bright caught my eye.

"Huh?" I picked it up; then I remembered..

"This was the ring Liz gave to me for my birthday," I smiled. "Why not wear it for C.C.'s birthday..!" I put the ring on and walked out my room.

I knocked on C.C.'s room.

"Hey, loser! Wake up," I said.

"Ok Mike.." said the muffled voice.

I went downstairs to see my father in the kitchen. I tensed up. He usually doesn't cook for us.. What's he up to?

William then turns around.

"Good morning Michael!" William said.

"Good mornin' Father.." I said, "I'm gonna go outside, is that ok?"

"Yeah sure, go ahead."

"Thanks." I went out of the door and decided to walk around the neighborhood.

C.C. comes out of his room and walks down the stairs, with Fredbear in hand.

"*yawn* Good morning Dad..!"

"Good morning C.C.! Oh, and happy birthday!"

"Heheh, thanks," I said with a smile.

"Say, where did Mike go?"

"That kid?" he questioned, "He just went outside, presumably to walk around the neighborhood." He then went back to making pancakes.

"Thanks Dad," I said in relief.

I went outside to look for my brother.

I looked around to see if was anywhere then I saw him. He was sitting on the swing all alone with his head down.

I walked over.

"Mike, are you ok? Father said you were walking around the neighborhoo-'' I stopped.

He was crying.

"What..?" Not in my whole life have I ever seen Mike cry before. I thought he was invincible to anything and everything! But I guess I was wrong.

I sat down on the swing next to him. I wanted to comfort him but I didn't know the words to say.

"W-what are you doing out here C.C.." Mike said with his stuffed nose.

"I-I just wanted to know where you were so I came out here and found you here on the swing." I said.

"Well y-you shouldn't see me like this, it's your birthday.." He raised his head.

"Well, I'm not leaving until you're feeling better," I said.

"Hm, thanks C.C." smiled Mike.

"You're alright sometimes," He ruffled my hair.

"C'mon, let's get inside," Michael said.

"Heheh, ok!" I said

"Zero days until the party.."
