A cannon shot them apart, "Kri-"
Laylani didn't get to finish her sentence as she also go shot down.
"Laylani!" She Heard Poe yell through the earpiece before knocking unconscious.
Finn wakes up, looking for Poe or Laylani.
He breathed heavily, out of breath. He wasn't sure what to do honestly.
Then he saw Laylani, he shook her up. She was ready to punch him.
"Hey. Woah. Calm down.. it's me. Your fine." He muttered to her helping her up.
"Poe! Poe!" Finn yelled running up to the ruins.
"He's not here.." Laylani said. Sighing she muttered a prayer in Mando'a that was used when someone like a friend passes away.
The TIE fighter sunk in the sand and Laylani pulled Finn back.
The sand exploded and she just muttered again "Great. A simple bounty turns into this."
Finn took off all of his stormtrooper parts and used poes jacket to block out the heat.
They made it to town, Finn looked for water while Laylani looked for the BB unit.
Laylani saw the droid and ran towards it, a girl was near.
Laylani extended her arm to stop Finn.
"That's the droid." She muttered.
We walked towards it, and the girl.
Finn ran when the girl started chasing us.
She knocked him down with her staff.
The BB unit comes up sooner and I look at it it chirps "who are you?" Finn gets electrocuted.
"He wants to know where you got your jacket from." Laylani said.
"We had a pretty messed up day, so we'd appreciate it if you stopped accusing me- AHH- STOP" Finn says.
"Where'd you get it? It belongs to his master." The girl says.
I looked at the BB unit with sympathy.
"It belonged to Poe Dameron. That was his name right? He was captured.. by the first order I helped him and Kaylani escape. Our ship crashed. Poe didn't make it." Finn said.
The droid hung its head low with sadness
"We tried to help him. I'm sorry."
The droid rolls away. Laylani reached her hand out for Finn, pulling him up.
"So your with the resistance? Both of you?"
"Obviously." He said.
"Your names Laylani correct? Laylani Djarin, right?"
"That is correct." She said.
"Bb-8 has a mission and he needs to get back to your base."
"Apparently he has a map that leads to Luke Skywalker. And everyone's after it." Laylani put a hand over his mouth before he said more.
She groaned, her eyes were glaring daggers at him.
"Luke Skywalker." The girl whispers.
"I thought he was a myth."
Bb-8 chirped alerting us that their was stormtroopers.
The stormtroopers fired at them when they saw them, they took off running.
They continued shooting at us "BB-8 stay close." The girl said.
All the civilians started running now.
"You've been seen with us, your marked." Finn says.
"Thanks for that." The girl says.
"Does anyone have blasters around here?!" Finn says. As they both continue to look.
They ran off.. again..
TIE fighters showed up, and started shooting at them, everyone running around made this worse.
The girl shakes Finn up, and they run. Yet again.
"We can't outrun them!"
"We need a pilot! You've got one!"
"Two!" Laylani yells at them.
"What about that ship?!" Finn asks.
"No that one's garbage."
"Well! It's my garbage!" Laylani says.
The other ship gets blown up and they head to the other ship.
"The garbage will do." The girl says.
