"She is majestic."
Arsen whispered.
"As majestic as you."
A smile formed on Winter's lips.
"You are fucking beautiful. It's taking everything to keep my wolf at bay right now."
His eyes were still pitch black as they roamed over her body.
"It isn't helping that you are wearing my shirt."
He took a deep breath
"Or that it nearly covers your bottom." He added.
"Do you feel better if I take it off?" Winter teased him.
A low possessive growl escaped from Arsen's throath.
"Your room now." He commanded.
"I am going to rub every inch of you and your room with my smell so that everybody stays away from you."
He grabbed her and pulled her against his chest. His lips devoured hers. And Winter softly smiled.
"We are never going to make it to my room if you keep kissing me like this." She softly whispered.
He smacked her bottom playfully.
"Lead the way."
"Yes, my alpha." She purred.
Suddenly he scooped her up and start to run.
"Forget what I said just point the way. You calling me my alpha"
Another low growl escaped his throat and a smile filled Winter's face.
As Arsen walked in Winter's room he felt overwhelmed, her smell was everywhere, this was her home, her safe heaven and he was here. He carefully placed her down and Winter locked the door she looked curiously at Arsen, she thought he would be running wild on her the moment she locked the door but instead he was looking at everything in her room.
His eyes went over the books on her bookshelf, Winter placed herself behind him her hands on his hard muscled chest.
"What are these?" Arsen asked intrigued.
"Strategical literature." Winter replied.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Arsen asked.
"Manny grate leaders wrote down the decisions they faced, the rules they installed to keep their people happy or inline. Many strong packs did the same in the past. I studied them all and started on our own book." She said.
Arsen was still looking at the books.
"Fuck, you are even hotter right now." He replied.
Winter smiled.
"Sometimes my urge to do things better than my father takes the upper hand, the council and these books keep me grounded, since I don't know if I ever will be able to share this all with my mate."
She softly whispered the last part but Arsen had clearly heard.
"You have a mate with who you can share this." He stated confident.
His fingers trailed over her cheek.
"How can you be this confident?" she asked.
"If I wouldn't believe that our packs saw the opportunities that lay ahead of them, I might give up on my mate as well." He said.
Arsen studied his beautiful mate, he couldn't believe how lucky he was. His hand dropped from Winter's cheek and she looked expectantly at him.
"So, you just came here to check out my book collection?" she softly teased him.
