𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐔𝐄

On the twelfth hour of the first day of October 1989, forty three women around the world gave birth. This was unusual only in the fact that none of the women had been pregnant when he day first began.

Dr. Cecil Ernest Montgomery, three time Nobel prize winner in physics, chemistry and economic sciences, decided to dedicate his life to finding and adopting as many of these children as possible, no matter how long it took.

Dr. Montgomery was determined to locate these children and study their sudden appearance and the strange occurrence on how they came to be.

He got seven of them.

Number Zero: Ziggy, a person with the ability to change their appearance, as well as, the appearance of others and objects.
Number One: Jaden, her ability allowed her to see what the future held and the opportunity to change it.
Number Two: Kai, their power to create and control fire.
Number Three: Sage, her ability to manipulate and warp reality.
Number Four: Ceres, their ability to manipulate and control energy, mainly to create force fields.
Number Five: Reese, her power to control time and that of other people and objects.
and finally Number Six: Marceline, who was adopted later than the other children and held the ability to control and move objects with her mind.

Ziggy was the reason Dr. Montgomery found out the children held amazing abilities that people could only dream of. Montgomery had first noticed the infant's eyes changing colours but believed it to be a trick of the light. It was only when one of the nannys he had hired was playing peak a boo with the child and they had abruptly turned their hair a bright shade of blue, while forcing the nanny into a fainting spell, that Dr. Cecil Montgomery realised just how special these children were.

He always had his suspicions that the children weren't like normal people but never had the proof, other than their not so normal birth.

Once finding out about this fact, he spent countless hours studying the children. When they slept, he was still sat in his office until daylight peaked over the clouds and shone through the stained glass windows. When they were awake, he was taking notes on their skills in combat, academics and looking for any sign of how powerful their abilities were.

He raised them to be machines made to stop crime and prove to the world that Dr. Cecil Ernest Montgomery was a name that would never be forgotten. That was until Sir Reginald Hargreeves and the Umbrella Academy came into the picture.

At first, Montgomery saw it as competition, a level that needed to be passed but soon realised the two teams would be better together, and they were. They were the best crime fighting team the world had ever seen.

But that didn't save them from the mountains of mental and emotional damage they all held.
